Its a bug that'll be fixed in the next client update.

Another update on the "Dying with health" issue. We have tracked down the bug and created a fix, that fix will go out with the next full client update. Thanks for your patience!
It will be in the next full client update. You'll recognize the client update because it requires you to download a new version from the Market/App store.
As mentioned in previous threads (and in this one) Flip and I were able to reproduce the problem consistently.

I've had that happen before, it's because when ublvl up while ur dead, for some reason u get ur health back, glad to hear that their fixing it! :)

fao, I have died with health and not leveled up, so that's definitely not it.

You died because you're running with Tesla. If that run included THC, Tesla and Drieb...the world would erupt into hell fire.
