Aww, that sucks that there was no "My" version of Tinsel. I feel for you free to play players. We were actually discussing this on the Party Zone Discord Server tonight.

This whole event was a disappointment. Spent many wasted hours grinding points for an event with no rewards. On top of all the hours and plat spent in grotto to get nothing. Next time i will spend the time with my family instead of wasting it here. Thanks fer nothin LOL

The rewards of the event was clearly discussed with Cinco himself on the PL Central discord server.

It was explained the rewards:
The Event Vendor Gusty sells
• Mythic Rings for gold
• Gaze Faces for plat
• Tinsel dragon pet for 400 - 600 platinum (dependant on which tier you reach)

I personally loved the event. I was time limited spending Xmas with family.

It only took me 6 hours to grind for 50k points, I bought my Tinsel for plat.

I also had the opportunity to farm the boss for free (no Plat needed) to loot the best drops of Gleam and the new level 10 elites. If you took the time to farm the event, and worked on it, you could have been lucky to loot these items.

We have been spoilt in the past by sts and these events, the high expectation of being able to purchase event rewards with PL gold. We just had a gold farming event from the forest fury event. I do hope you had time to farm the gold and save enough to purchase Tinsel with gold from another.

It's great for the game that the best pet on game is platinum purchased only, the more Plat injected into the game shows our appreciation to Sts and we are sustaining the cost of running Pocket Legends.

Our beloved Cinco posted on the Party Zone discord server on Christmas day about the absence of a "my" version of Tinsel. Here's what he said:



The gold version of Tinsel was “Gleam” which dropped from Blizzerax.
I wanted it to be free for the fortunate and fuel the economy - instead of just being a gold sink.
It works in the same way as the gold version of Warbird
Only I didn’t “sell” it
