How to play Pocket Legends on the Chrome Browser

You can play Pocket Legends via your Chrome Browser.

Click here to go to the Pocket Legends listing on the Chrome Web Store (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/mhpdbcnfpodnaefldpdohoibdajcfabp)

You want to make sure you have the latest version of Chrome, which you can get it at http://www.google.com/chrome

Let the game patch up (it will take a while on first load).

Log in with your account.

Play!

Make sure you are using the latest version of Chrome. When in doubt, re-install Chrome from http://www.google.com/chrome

Alternatively, you can go to http://account.spacetimestudios.com/pocketlegends/ to play.

There can be a LONG load time when you FIRST run the game. Give it some time (like 15 minutes or more, depending on the machine you are trying to play on). You can always close the browser and re-open and the downloading & patching procedure will pick right back up.

Yes Windows Xp machines may show the problem :-failed to initialize graphics or are stuck at 42% or 99%
then you just have to make sure all your graphix card and video card drivers are updated..if not...update them...this should make it work...at least did for me

I'm assuming you are using a Razor Naga too. One thing that's bothering me is the numbering on the skills... It goes from bottom right and upwards in rows... The exact opposite of what us Naga users would want. It's quite confusing, I hope they fix it or at least put a toggle option in the menu.

type "about:flags"(no quotes) into your address bar, scroll down to the native client section, and click enable. Scroll down to the very bottom and click restart, just closing chrome and reopening won't work.

if you have it saved as a shortcut delete the shortcut and type the address in manually
go to "about:flags" , scroll down until you see native client and enable it, then restart chrome

It will grow (slowly) as we add new content, but it's currently under 40 megs total, of which only about 2 megs are in the space it's asking permission for (preferences and data patches). The rest is in the browser cache.

The most common cause of this is browsing through a proxy which doesn't deal correctly with websockets. Try disabling your proxy.

Underneath the shield there should be a progress indicator or an error message if something went wrong. If you have a low resolution display, it may be offscreen, so you may want to adjust the size to be able to see it. To do this, append ?h=# to the address bar, where # is the height in pixels you want.

The message doesn't come up because it already has permission (SL and PL share a storage area).
We haven't been able to reproduce this problem, but the few reports of it I saw with SL were fixed by uninstalling chrome and reinstalling it.

Are you sure you have the latest version of Chrome? Uninstall and reinstall the latest from http://www.google.com/chrome

If on the flags page, you see 'Enable' under Native Client, it's disabled. Hit Enable, then scroll to the bottom and there should be a button there to relaunch the browser.

i updated to newest graphics driver and got around this issue on my desktop.
my laptop i got the same result after the update so i am guessing i dont have a strong enough vid card on the laptop to run pl

- sounds are strange, some sounds u hear normal loud, some almost u wont hear. its like u join a map and u hear the others fighting somewhere on map
- it hang up twice, not sure if its my hard- software.
- after it hung up i had to redownload almost all app...?
- sometimes lagging a bit, but for rest much fluider as on iphone.
- controling the game is harder, u need to catch the skills with the mouse and look at same time at ur char.
- hp and mana pots needs a faster button than [ and ]

where did u update it?
if you are running a PC:
Go to start->run and type "dxdiag" without the quotes.
hit OK and then click the display button in the window that comes up.
Look at what video card you have, and then type it in google along with the words driver download

Then find the latest driver for your pc and install it

So, I spread the word of PL having a beta for PC/Mac. A friend decided he would start playing it via chrome. So I decided to go to his house to show him, and i've run into an issue that I cant seem to fix.. or if its even an issue, idk..

It's probably offscreen due to a low resolution display. Append ?h=600 to the address bar (which tells it to use an 800x600 play area), and it will probably be small enough for you to see it.

Either do what Barrington said, and press F11 for Fullscreen, or Hold down "Ctrl" and then Mouse wheel down. It will zoom out the browser a little.

Ok so i tried to log in today on PL for chrome browser and it said "Failed to initialize graphics. You may need to update your graphic drivers." Ive played on the browser like 4 times now and just today it told me this why? Help plz someone

No bugs currently. You need to update chrome to latest version, which can be done by click the "spanner" in the top right, then "about google chrome". Make sure this is done and then type in account.spacetimestudios.com/pocketlegends.

i was install chrome with latest update..
and still can't play PL.. :(

Most likely you need to update your graphics card. Possibly buy a new computer with a new graphics card.

Another thing you could do is type in about:flags. Then enable native client. And hit relauch

i need help then i going to my local library and sometimes i get the initialising failure thing but after i jump that hurdle it get the starting spectimestudios thing up and it then says connecting to server then every time it says that there is a system update either u have waaaay to many updates or theres something going wrong thanks for listening guys :)

There are 3 ways to sign on to existing accounts - Connect using Google, Facebook or another email account. I can't get the connect with google button to work. I have downloaded and installed the most current versions off both Chrome browser and Pocket Legends from the Chrome web store. And I have tried using the Already have a STS account. I use the gmail email address that i use with Connect using google option and am told that there is no account registered under that email. (when this happened the 1st time I made another account for PL. I am still using both these accounts)

Oh and by not working I mean that nothing happens when I click on the button

I would like acess to map any move to any key. It's annoying to move with WASD with one hand, use mouse with the other and to attack, peck the digit keys with my nose.
