i thought it would be cool to have a warrior melee turnament :) and everybody puts in like 10k and the price pot would be great :D (ofc we will find someone thats trusted to hold the money)

sounds intresting?

ONLY bear tanks? Or pallys and battle birds too?

If this were to happen, pallys should be excluded. For obvious reasons.

What about battle birds? Also, like Banned, some birds use daggers, which are considered melee....

A sword-only bear tourney would be fun. By evening the playing field in an unbalanced game you really get to tell who's the better player.

10k is pretty steep though. Maybe after AO3? By that time the Auction House will allow a more regular stream of income, and we'll be over the initial surge of spending on items when the map first drops. Then, I'm recommending AO3 and not now simply because I don't think it'll be that long until it's released. There doesn't have to be that much more original coding between maps that share the same theme.

Unsung

PvP has not been my first choice for games because ranged characters are at such a huge advantage. I think this would be fun though knowing that everyone has to get within arms reach. I would be up for this kind of tournament though.

Good idea RoidRager

Great idea! Could really help level the playing field some.

Wonder if someone will do a Bird/rdps comp as well, now we're talking ; )
