+ Scarlet in Glintstone offers a new quest to Hardcore Mode Characters that allows limited access to the Stash.
+ After completing this quest Hardcore Characters can put items into the Stash for other characters to use / trade / sell.

This stash access idea is great, but what about lower-level hc chars? I'm taking my time leveling (not accepting quest xp) so I can get decent pve kills and also grind to loot the gear I need to advance safely. I am typically running solo. Every time I run, I'm dumping a valuable legendary item or duplicate pet egg since we only get the 25 slots. Level 50 is weeks away for me and others, I'm sure. The execution of this concept would be better if this was a map with mobs scaled to the player's hc level.

After doing the quest, hardcore characters can put items in the stash. Hardcore characters cannot retrieve items from the stash, only put them in for other non-hardcore to use.

No, hardcore can only stash items, not unstash. This just lets you pass things along to your non-hardcore characters.

It sounds one way. The hardcore toon can put items in but not take them out based on the wording. I could be wrong.
