I am curious what the rare items in the game are. I have seen some and then people scam others saying something is very rare when it isn't. I do not know what the items people call rare are and would like to know w/o people trolling me... I am sure I have no rare items but lets try to make a legit list of rare items.

Back when cyber was account bound there was a glitched cyber armor that could be traded for awhile. Though, it's irrelevant now because you can trade everything

I know there are pink L56 crafted COPs. These are basically in-between the L56 Dingy crown and the Vanity COPs. One for STR, one for INT and one for DEX. Not sure if they hold any value. Probably though ;)

You still see quite a number of PSY.KO pets on the daily. About 35 or so were rewarded.

Now MAY.NE-AK, the uncrafted version of PSY.KO, that one is rare. The last time I saw one was when Crucifyego was on taking offers on his. That was nearly 6 months ago.

I think they are all banned or very very inactive.From my understanding the android costume is limited to only Devs, cinco (i believe) used to use it on an account named Droid. Used to be seen a lot but the Devs "retired" it. While they still obviously have access to it when they do log into the game they dont use it which is why no one has seen it in years.

Nope. They still exist on the player's accounts... they are all as devour said either banned or retired.

Off the top of my head, some rare items I have obtained over the years would be:
Lv 2 Bracer.
33 Swampthorn talon (Looks sick)
lv 30 dreamers Witch Toad (Looks like a frog) Which if I remember correctly Hunzz had a lv 29 of this item which is CRAZY!
lv 15 Flamming Fireblaster of Mastery (I think it goes down as low as 14)
I also have those skull staffs called Darkbolt blaster/ flameskull fire-flinger ranging from LV 20-35.. I have a purple lv 36/37 I think. And I think I am missing one level like 34 or 33.
I have some AO2 lv 50 which are discontinued.. But I don't think any of my items are even on the spectrum of rarity that this thread covers.. I need to go back and look through my Hoard of PL items because I have been collecting for 10 years now LOL.

Also, I remember rumors about 1h Gurgox because it was in a video or screenshot from Cinco but are there actually any pictures of this item in circulation?

The "Tradable Cyber Armor" being listed here is a Cyber Armor that was lootable from bosses during the level 50 cap for a very short period of time. Rumor is that only one or two armors may have been looted (Physiologic, a former very popular forumer, might have looted one?). It may or may not have a different name or description than the Cyber Armors that you can now get from Alien Oasis III quests. So while the once lootable version probably wouldn't be worth that much, it's still one of the rarest items in the game if it has any marker (such as a slightly different name or item description) to indicate that it's different than the quest version of the item that is now tradable.

I would definitely refer to LwMark's guide (https://web.archive.org/web/20130302082119/http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?51785-Discontinued-Tradeable-Item-Guide!) for any additional rare items, too. The 63/33/48 purple forg bows at the time were the rarest Forg drops. I have a full set of the 71 purps, some 71 pinks, etc.

If anyone sees this, I do have BOTH of the level 33 talons. "The Jewel Thief's Swampy Shiv" (neon green shiv, level 33 legendary) and the "Swampy Shiv of Finesse" (white shiv, level 33 epic).

Chocolate Rabbit Ears may be one of the rarer vanities out there, still trying to confirm exact origin of them. (My best guess is that they were a 2012-only release.)
