That looks so amazing, STS have really added the wonder of the Red Crackers going off during Chinese New Year to scare away evil spirits.

I only wished Pocket Legends had this event as well.

Here is a real life version of the Red Crackers going off during Chinese New Year, as well as the art of the Lion Dance.

In China they use a lunar calendar as opposed to most countries that use a Gregorian calendar. Basically they're having a new years celebration based on the moon not a specific date. It can happen any time from the back end of January to the end of February. I don't think Christmas is celebrated in China (sorry if I'm wrong, not an expert on Chinese culture) hence the giving of gifts for new year.

Yea, the zodiac has all different animal's, this year I think is pig. Not sure how it all works tbh. Maybe the new moon date determines the animal.

It’s the year of the pig, every 12th year is the year of the pig it represents luck or something like that.

The new pet head looks like a small fry box from mcdonalds that contains fries in it.
