Okay - real life has been tough on me; haven't been on much and this is the first time I've been on the forums in days.
One of the flaws right now is that PvP has changed fundamentally. There are few Alien Underground fights and few FFA fights. CTF (and increasingly 1v1) results in people leaving whenever they lose, which tends to fall apart pretty quickly. I recall when I was learning PvP - Alien Undergrounds and Mud 5v5s were the norm. These were fast-paced fights and people didn't care as much about ratios.
I think that we need some new maps. It may increase interest in PvP. I think most players would be willing to pony up some plat for this one.
These maps should be either maps that favor FFA style games - I think that wide open spaces tend to favor 1v1 (Forest Fight) versus narrow corridors/halls (ex: Alien Underground) or be CTF maps. Close quarters by nature I think tends to favor aggressive FFA versus 1v1.
