Sorry if this is posted in wrong section but I havnt been here in ages. I just wanted to know whether avian scream is worth putting points into? It says it does damage but whenever I used to use it (months ago) it seemed to be pointless. So is avian scream worth getting for either pvp or pve and to what point should I max it? Thx all!

The only beneficial thing about avian scream would be the slight stun and knockback, especially at lower levels. Invest 1 or 2 points in it

Only damage skill on a bird I won't touch.

... unless you PVP or do a lot of level 30 action, as it does unfreeze.

At level 4+, it clears debuffs on you.

If to have at least five points in avian scream you can use it to break free from being frozen in snow place, rather than waiting for a mage to use heal.

Not worth it, until level 50+ . Not many stages and places you'll get frozen -,-
Use shattering scream to make combo with blast shot.

The damage is great, and as otu said, it clears debuffs from level 4+. It's a nice skill to invest points into, but I don't think it's the best. I find it useful on warbird however. The biggest downside to it is the 3M range on it, which shouldn't be problem to get within range for it on warbird.

It really does clear debuffs at level 4? Cool!

The unfreeze makes it worth putting a point into.

I've only tested it once each with frostbite and break armor, so I'm taking both my testings and Otu's word for it tbh. It cleared frostbites' hit debuff, and I saw it clear break armor as well.

I know it clears freeze at any level. Might have to test it against the boom boxes in nuri.

It has the same debuff clearing properties as Stomp, as a reference. I haven't tested it since the 55 cap, but there were 2-3 things that couldn't be cleared(I think nightmare was one, weakness could tho), and those were the same for both Stomp and Avian.

As to whether Stomp clears the music debuff, I don't have a clue.

when your fighting groups of mobs... this is one of the best skills. It stuns the enemies around you for a sec

Why am I always last to find out on this stuff... lol!

And stomp does not help with the music in Nuri's.

If I remember correctly, Stomp also needed to be level 4 at least to clear debuffs. Not sure if this has changed and if it applies to Avian Scream as well.
