Pocket Legends Client 1.7.5 Has Been Released!

We have released a new version of the game client, 1.7.5 that includes the following changes:


The Menu system has been reworked, adding gameplay hints.
Guild roster now displays the locations of guild members.
The “Continue” button will attempt to place the player in an instance that is not close to completion/already complete.
Quick Chat now appears in front of the Respawn window, not behind.
Chrome: Characters should no longer autorun if the game window loses focus.
Improved memory usage on all devices.


For Android users, you can always get the .APK file for our apps at http://auth.pocketlegends.com/download/ or via the link in the Android forum at http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?12738-PocketLegends.apk-now-available-for-those-without-market-access.

It may take a while for the application to be available in the App Store & Android Marketplace. The old 1.7.4 Pocket Legends client will be shut down later today.

U guys havent fixed the aura around the new 1h orlock crafted set its still the demonic flames not the cool flashy smoke.can you please fix this!

Hey i have a problem with the new client.. Before it used to run just fine on my iPhone 3G but since i updated to 1.7.5 the app keeps crashing on start-up :/ I cant play anymore. I tried deleting and re-installing but to no use. Anyone else having that problem or just me ? Help please :)

I didn't see any locations for guild mates. Looks just the same as it did before.

Gameplay is now uber laggy and i cant really play. Im on i pod touch 3g 8gigabite and it says 179 ping but lags a lot and i have really good internet connection. Pl has always worked good but now will not stop lagging. I have faith in you devs good job on the update btw the little tads of info are nice (are they class specific?)

The guild UI is exactly the same. I cannot see location of guild members at all.

Please, please add the option to turn off the menu tips. It may be useful for the new player, but I'm already sick of seeing the goofy things.

Font size reeeeeeeal small on iPhone/iPad
New clicks/moneysound/clicks while liquidating or in CS get kind of old fast. Option to turn off 'additional sound effects', perhaps?
As mentioned, no guild member locations
That new popup for checking in when you log in? I know it helps pay the bills, but am already sick of seeing it nor am I interested in the least in 'checking in'. Option to toggle off?

Can someone tell me why I always have to get the apk version? When I try to download from market it says my phone doesnt have enough space but I can download the apk version flaw free. Pm me :confused:

Pro:

- lag on iphone seems better, better graphics, much fluider all, even GCD seems better to handle
All in all, playing feels good now!

not so pro (more or less same as Moog already said) :

- font size is to little in chat, almost needs a magnifier now (iam on iphone)
- buttons in new menu are to small (worldmap, exit.. etc). i liked them how they was before. since my ex company developed touch-screen software i can just suggest to make them bigger since space is more than enough there.
- make an option to disable those tipps. after 1,5y of PL i dont need a tip where to buy potions LOL!
- guild member locations still not there
- PLZ disable that annoing new popup on longon and after... we need to wait until it disappear to open friend lists etc....
- heal, restore, revive have now a "disturbing" sound, dont know how other players feel

The new verzion keeps crashing I use iPod touch and have deleted and reinstalled new app I also factory reset iPod . Any ideas?

Does this update include the game crashing multiple times on start-up? Because that has been my case since the update. I have a decent internet connection as I also use it to play other MMO's with no problem. My iPad has 26gb free as of the moment. I'm pretty sure this issue is exclusive to PL...I hope devs are looking into this...ty

Pro: nerfed pink drops, means prices will sky rocket :tradersgrin:

Con: App crashes under iOS 4.3.5 (8L1) iPad each time you change login. This weekend alone I got 15 crashes.
