Aura vanities!

Idk just thought it would be cool to have the option to buy aura’s.
Each aura could be like 2k plat to buy?
(Non stackable)
(the ARE trade-able and stash-able)

Whaaaat, seems like u read my mind.
I was thinking since Tuesday about to do a thread about it too.
Just not had time to make a Photoshop edition to show.
But my thoughts was more than just aura. Could be any effect, like the next thing in the vanity spots.
In dark legends they have something familiar, ppl can buy effects to have around, under, etc, them.

I would like auras too! but then again if there are too many auras, frame rate is gonna be bad like hell....

Cool idea, but there should be an option that let's other people disable other player's aura from their game.

Not everyone's phone can handle a lot of particles :)

I wouldn’t count it as a leaderboard item, it would benefit the Space Time Team if you could buy it with plat instead of only having a 2 week time period for only 15 players to receive 1.

Also,

They can just re-use old auras like;
1.)Pavise vanity weapon aura(1,500 plat)

2.)maul proc, aura(2,000 plat)

3.)uller armor Lightning, aura(1,800 plat)

4.)10m vanity Gold drop aura(200 plat)

5.)cryostar 3/3 purple glow aura(1,200 plat)

6.)arcane ring aura(999 plat)

7.)kershal proc aura(800 plat)

8.)Runic Gun proc aura(2,222plat)

8.)drag sword proc aura(1,399 plat)

9.)Shrieking bonesaw proc aura(1,111 plat)

10.)Level 54 arcane amulet aura(1,499 plat)

11.) nightmare 6/6 aura(800 plat)

12.) demonlord fire aura(450 plat)

13.) imbued armor glow(350 plat)

14.) glintstone set all 3 classes(3,500 plat)
There’s probably a few more I missed but you get the drift.

and just change the colors of them and depending on the size and detail effects on the aura the more it costs, as shown above.

+1 for a disable all fancy aura and sparkle option.

absolutely fine is someone is keen to add more and more (rather expensive but useless) dangling and blinking stuff to a toon
but for some (me included) it is just annoying. sometimes i myself has a green .. kind of arlor speak ring around my toon and
i have no idea why and how to get rid of it. disappears after a while .. like the inner ring in the 3rd picture in starting post.

also there is an effect with a green ball circling. absolute crap when looking for energy essence.

so yes to auras, spent your money on whatever you want but make it optional to all others, to see it.
i can disable pets name, IGN, titles, interaction outside towns .. also no visual effects from other characters would bring a huge
benefit for me. maybe YMMV.

an overview of which items grants which effect / optical addon would be great, since i would like to know why someone has a
specific effect .. not neccessarily want to see it all the time.

Good idea but please make them smaller, its too big

Also the thing with those things is that they’re only cool if only a few players have them
If many have those auras they will get annoying

Same with badges, they are cool now because they are really rare
If it would have been a gold tier reward nobody would care about them

Like ive said in the past, disable auras should be an option. Then i wouldnt see a problem with adding more auras.

Aura is supposed to be something attached to something special (Special gear, set, elix effect etc) if anybody can just buy an aura, the meaning of those aura lost all their meanings, if u want meaningless aura, buy an heroic pet and place yourself on your pet :P

Yeah I too agree with this idea, it’s a terrific idea!!! Gives us plat buyers more of a reason to buy plat. To make ourselves stand out.

Sts got some new devs which I like(I like the old devs too)hopefully sometime near the future sts would take this idea into consideration. I’d say it’ll take about a month or less to do, it’s simple enough to where it doesn’t break the game and easy enough to do where it doesn’t take a long time to complete it.

I get it not everyone has a good phone or pc for the frames but, some of you have to admit it’s a 7/10 good idea. The prices of the auras are reasonable and they already exist, all sts has to do is turn it into a vanity and change the color. Hope you take it into consideration Justg I would appreciate it.

Imo auras are reserved for specific gear and it should stay like that. Vanities already have such a huge impact of the game i sometimes have the feeling people dont want any good gear anymore. By keeping the aura effect for gear (I know cryo set has an aura too. but in general) people still have another reason why they buy gear besides the stats and procs. Plus the new arc arti doesnt have an aura bc of the lag of performance on lower quality devices, i think if even the best arcane arti doesnt get an orb we should not be able to buy auras itself, even if we have a turn off aura button.

Keep it coming guys, I understand the situation between the devices frame rate and not everyone has the best device with 60fps etc... but I’d figure it would have been nice to have something else we could buy with platinum. Sure elite gem kits and opening locked crates is cool and all but I’d rather spend 2,000 plat on a maul proc aura than with locks or gem kits. Plus I don’t think everyone would be able to afford 2,000 plat or probably maybe not even 1,000 either but either way. Everyone’s opinion is welcome!!!
