why so much lag on 3g?

I have a samsung transform, its 3g and its sucks!. I have never lagged so bad before. I cant farm, pvp, or even walk around without hitting a 1k ping. I reseted my phone, and re-installed the app, and still lag. I have camera affects off, HD off, battery saver on low. There is pretty much nothing i can do but lag.

on most networks the more you use your mobile net the slower it gets.
