Im gonna go ahead and say lose the tie it is a very nice look with all the black but the hat throws it off but keep the hat lol makes u look like Jim Ross from the WWF days

A cowboy hat with a pink striped tie......I LOVE IT! GO FLAMBOYANT COWBOY!
But seriously, id lose the hat lol. Unless its a western themed dance of course. Also, does your tie match your date's dress? I had that issue last year at my junior year Ring Dance, she wore a silver dress so I got a silver tie to match (matching is very important to some girls these days :p)
