[Fan art] How I imagine the level 40 op armor

The new patch will be released this month, maybe the real lvl 40 armor will look similar :p
Drawn with a mouse in Photoshop. It took me a few hours, it's inspired by the level 25 gear. I liked the level 25 sets the most, especially the engineer set.

Absolutely stunning! STS would be smart to take some design cues if not for the 40 gear, then the 45 at least. Amazing work, on par with RedRyder's works I would say, and that is a huge accomplishment. Cheers.

LOVE the armor colors/lighting, not a big fan of the yellow sonic the hedgehog spikes on the helmet though :( Otherwise, I'd gladly wear this set. Very very nice.

Thanks for the positive feedback! I planned to make it a spiky-sort of set at first (Spiketech :p), the helmet and pistols were the first things I drew, after that I started using a different style, so that's why only they are spiky.

I've always had this idea of having guns that instead of only have a handhold or a stock to use for stabilization, why not have it loop around the wrist/forearm? Something like a cuff where you couldn't be disarmed but still allowed for the release of the weapon. Could think of some really cool, intricate designs for something like that! Would allow for more expansive weapon designs as well since the guns cover new areas.

I was gonna design a Comm armor set but all I did was take an M1 tank and photoshopped my head onto the turret and accented the body lines with Tron-ish lighting effects...I think yours is a lot more functional and original...kudos!

I thought about this for the engi, only I was gonna use a sewage treatment plant. Then I realized that engis already have poo armor. :D Complete with gas cloud.
