The game is getting progressively better and the developers should be proud of that. Some of these have been stated before but yet to be seen.
THE RETURN OF PVP TOURNAMENTS
It has been 4 years since the last PvP tournament (2015) and the idea of PvP tournaments doesn't seem to be fading from our minds anytime soon. These tournaments should really be performed at least 1-2 times per season (a different game-mode each time) with the usual permanent banner rewards and possible new permanent badge rewards. With the addition of the guild battlegrounds feature to the game, these tournaments should be much more fun.
GUILD BATTLEGROUNDS AUTOMATED IN-GAME TOURNAMENT BOARD
Alongside seasonal tournaments with permanent rewards, we should have an automated in-game guild battlegrounds tournament board which allows for weekly tournaments to take place. The first thing that comes to mind is "obviously we can't have 100+ guilds in a tournament within a week so how are guilds chosen to perform in this tournament?”. This is this currently in debate and any ideas would be much appreciated. The rewards could include a temporary tournament banner (for the winning participants), a temporary tournament badge (for the winning participants and all their guild members combatant+), temporary special un-tradable vanity and other possible rewards such as 25% off guild-hall potions etc.
How it works
1. 8 Guilds will be in for that weeks 10 v 10 – level 1 to endgame battle (the battle is ALWAYS 10 v 10 – level 1 to endgame). The guild sign-up stage will take place between Monday and Thursday.
2. The quarter-final will result in 4 winners of the original 8 applicants and this will take place at a set time on Friday.
3. The semi-final will result in 2 winners of the original 4 quarter-final winners and this will take place later that same Friday.
4. The final will take place on Saturday between the 2 winners of the semi-final.
5. The Champions War will take place on Sunday between the winner of the final and the defending champion (this section of the board will not be active until there is a defending champion).
GUILD BATTLEGROUNDS LEADERBOARD
The first place guild on this leader-board by the end of the season would be entitled to a permanent banner for all their guild members (combatant+).
CLASS AND GEAR RESTRICTIONS
Class
Until we can find the ultimate balance between classes in future (emphasis on 'ultimate balance') so we can see fair 5 rogue v 5 mage or 5 warrior v 5 mage battles (which I don't think any game has ever achieved), I don't think simply abandoning PvP development is the way to go. A temporary constraint that should be put into place when permanent rewards/large team battles (>10 players) are involved is class restrictions. e.g. a CTF or TDM tournament would have a restriction of no more than 2 of the same class, while a guild battlegrounds tournament would have a class restriction of no more than 4 of the same class.
Gear
Now and then new gears/previously unfixed broken gears arise and threaten to derail the normal proceedings and fairness of tournaments. This can be dealt with by applying average player stats to gears granted for tournaments (which would require a tournament zone and developers to look at player stats or discuss these stats with players themselves).
Please note: this should not be applied to the automated guild battlegrounds tournament for obvious ramifications to in-game commerce.

Has been mentioned before. Daily guild quests that give xp to level your guild with progressive rewards of passives for all guild members e.g. level 1 – 5% health, level 5 – 5% armor, level 10 – 5% damage (all applied throughout Arlor).
Guild applications
This would be a much more convenient way to join guilds and accept guild members. Officers+ can set a message for their guild (which players looking for a guild can see). Players can send applications to any guild they wish via a guild board with a section to add text. Guild officers+ can review the applications (along with possibly the character page) and accept or decline.

After seeing all the devs and their morphs this weekend (mainly Futumsh and his Shadowspire dragon form :D), the prospect of mounts is evermore exciting. Or just let us morph too? (I'd pay for it lol) :D
