HeyZap App Info

EDIT: Hellurr.. I was under the impression that the HeyZap app has the same options on both Android and iOS. If they differ please take note that the info below is done via Android.



~~~TO REMOVE HeyZap GAME BAR ~~~


.....For those of you without the app.....

Do the following:

1. Uninstall SL (go to settings and apps then delete all the data before uninstalling)
2. Download the SL apk file (http://support.spacetimestudios.com/entries/20075762-i-have-trouble-installing-or-updating-the-game-on-my-android) .
3. When apk file is opened it will ask if you want to download HeyZap, select NO
4. Continue installing SL
5. Wala.. Its gone.


.....For those of you who have the app.....

To remove the popup check-in bar in the game do the following:

1.Open the HeyZap app
2. Bring up your menu
3. Select Preferences
4. Scroll down to Misc.
5. UNcheck "Show Check-in Popup"

NOTE: This will still allow you to automatically check-in. For more info keep reading...



~~~AUTOMATIC CHECK-INS~~~

NOTE: Must be done BEFORE removing the popup bar.


.....To Auto Check-In.....

1. Go to the app you want to auto check-in
2. On the HeyZap Bar check the auto check-in option on the bottom right.
3. Wala... Done!


.....To remove apps from auto checking-in....


1. Go to the HeyZap app
2. Bring up the menu
3. Go to preferences
4. Scroll down to Manage Automatic Check-Ins
5. Uncheck the apps you no longer want to auto check into.

Yeah that's great. Now if only STS would realize that iOS users are stuck with the annoying pop up no matter what. At least when you download it onto an Android device you have a CHOICE.

Its for the HeyZap app downloaded on both OSes. I figured they had the same options in their preferences. o_O If they differ then I need more info on the app's options on iOS. Sorry for the mishap if anything. :)

Good job Thren, exactly what I have been doing. Didn't realise everyone was experiencing problems until I read Apollo thread. Mines been smooth sailing any changes you want on any app check options or preferences, common sense IMO.

Hoping on Friday that they leave android alone and take it from just iOS users, we shouldn't have to suffer because of iOS users preferences/layout as I for one am loving this App atm.
