Advantages of mobile app?

Are there really any advantages of using the mobile forum app vs using the actual site? The fact that people use it yet they're missing out on several features puzzles me.

Go to web browser, STS site. Then log in, and its as if your on the computer.

Yep maybe just a little faster then loading the forums pages on your phone with safari maybe..

Tapatalk is really worth the money. especially if you check multiple forums daily. :)

You can also go on with just 3G, I use cause I dont have Wi-Fi, I dont trust Wi-Fi...just kidding I dont need it already have none Wi-Fi internet connection

I use it on my phone. I do not play on my phone often. It is nice for checking what's happening on the Forums while I'm away from home or a computer. That's about it.

The benefit for me is not having to sign-in/out all the time, can view the threads without all that forum clutter, faster posting, I don't have to use my laptop or mobile browser, easier way to view profiles and add people. Great way of sorting things out.... Etc.

I just prefer the app for a lot of reasons. XD

Quicker, faster, you can use on the move. That is all I can think of right now.

Lol, I never knew about being able to get it on safari. I used mobile app since I started the forum. I only started using safari last week, when I got my iPad :)
