Is heroic oswalds protective shield aa the same as heroic cottonkill aa? Dmg reduction based on total armor?

yes its same
dmg reduction? u can consider that shield as additional HP, at pet's lvl60-71 it gives you 5k dmg absorbing sheild, if u have more armor and more %dmg reduction - for enemies will be harder to deal 5k dmg at you, and harder to destroy ur shield

I remember a dev saying something about cotton shield is better with more armor when it came out so assumed it was dmg reduction based on armor. Ty
