L50 tournament

Gonna attempt to host a L50 tournament soon, probably within the next few weeks, just a heads up. I did some experimenting and found L50 to be the least active and fairly balanced class vs class considering enchants. This will mean that the only advantage any said player will have is experience in his/hers class. Qtr weapons will not be allowed along with the use of vanities (other than shields) because I’m aware that some players like to use different shields because of enchants . With that being said, this will be either a 1v1 or 2v2 tournament, class specific gear, no 2 mages on one team. Sadly because of the lack of balancing for foxes and rhinos at this level, they will not be allowed to participate, only the mage, bear, and bird classes can do so. As said above, this will be in a few weeks, this is just a heads up, and I’m looking for some opinions on whether or not it should be a 2v2 or 1v1 situation. All opinions are accepted.

I like the idea of a 2v2 level 50 tournament. I'm not a huge fan of 1v1 tournaments to be honest. I find 2v2 to be a lot more fun, but that's just me.

With the recent changes made to the enchantment system, it should be easier to roll or purchase a maxed out or almost maxed out set and such a tournament could breathe fresh new life into this otherwise inactive level (caused mainly by Quarter stat weapons).

As you stated in your post, you're looking to begin the tournament in a few weeks which is probably a good idea. I'd wait until after the new level 110 cap is released (sometime this month) before beginning. More people will have come back to the game, activity levels will increase, and players will likely have more platinum to spend on enchants for such a tournament if they're purchasing platinum in preparation for leveling to and farming the 110 cap.
