I think each player should have an inbox so when there offline people can just message them and when they do come online they can send you a message back

Nice idea! Players should have the option to disable or enable it to, as some players can get annoyed from it.

It's a good idea, yes, but you have to remember that PL isn't a downloaded game, everything that's "yours" in PL is saved to the server, not to the device. What I'm trying to say here is that the server only has so much memory, and adding a PM box would only bog the server down more, and just imagine all those people who will spam PMs and take up even more room... yikes
