Talk to "Cap'n Sinn" in Festerfang Outpost for more info... then hop through the portal to face the evil Cap'n Squall!
This event is scheduled to begin at 1:30pm Central time on Thursday May 9th and run until 1:30pm on Thursday the 16th.

New Arcanite Pets + Bonus Chest Opens!
Defeat the hard-nosed hammerhead Cap'n and loot gold from his treasure chests. Squall's chests also have a chance to drop the updated 'Arcanite Pet Recipe Bonus' chest that contains two (2) new Arcanite Pet Eggs and recipes (along with legendary equipment for Level 71 and other goodies). The new Arcanite Pet Recipe Bonus chest has 'Bonus' in the name because it provides one (1) free pull after ten (10) opens. Note: this is only for the looted chest.

When everyone get zhulong it will destroy alot in Arlor. I‘m happy that everyone got the Chance to buy Ebon Weapons. They added a very high drop rate of it

It would increase the amount of ppl who will not be bored to farm after the first day, and also we players gain lots of excitement and encouragement when we see/hear about someone looting an op item.

Let the lock poppers, pop locked (i dont fancy either pet so will probably skip this one and save plats for next event) but give some incentive to the f2p and small spenders who will grind the F out of this event if there's a .001% to loot an arcanite pet with effort and luck alone.

All you got to do is change it a little here n there and THEN change the color. So it can seem like you guys are actually TRYing to be different this year.... A lot of gold is fine but considering the arcanite pets requirement could you not make it too high...instead how about a decent amount of gold + many ingame currency: orc fangs, cryostar coins, glintstone coins, drakin teeth, balanced tokens etc. etc.

- People will buy all gl awaken gear from auctions to try and make as much gold as possible from the event.
- Awaken Gem kits will sell like crazy between people trying to make their own gl awakes and richer people trying to feed new stuff to sell in auctions.
- I mean by that : a lot of the money won during this event will vanish in failed awakes.
I wouldn't worry much about the inflation. But it sure is an awesome event to get a few millions for the poor. Next beggar I see in town : I'll cut his head off ;)

I will consider this - that said I see the glut of ingame currency as directly related to the influx created by the Easter Event - and the intention (like the Booty Event) is to have said currency sink out of the economy over a protracted period.

I am going to reduce the minimum gold by a lot and decrease the maximum gold by a little.
It will still be great but the number of runs you'll have to do for those incredible payouts may change quite a bit - which is good since this is a week-long event (not just the weekend ...which would be my other option to stem hyperinflation).

It's going to be reduced a bit; not a lot. Event will still be excellent gold - but it'll be set up so it can withstand a week's worth of farming.

It's going to be reduced a bit; not a lot. Event will still be excellent gold - but it'll be set up so it can withstand a week's worth of farming.Please dont reduce too much that it wont be worth running...just a little bit is ok

It won't be reduced by too much. There will however be a big increase in the RNG of how much gold you get per run - so we can sustain the event for more than just a few days.
