I want to craft a mythic dreamscape aegis but I know that first I must have a legendary one.

I have a quest that tells me to craft a legendary dreamscape weapon as seen on the screenshot.

When you buy/lend a legendary elysian weapon you should get the quest to turn it to mythic, if I remember well it goes into "replayable" quest section, it should be there, 0/666 runs needed.
The story quest line will always ask you to craft a legend one, cause it gives AP.

If you already have bought an Elysian aegis, you need to go to Chancel of Light town and equip it; that will give you the mythic weapon quest in your side quests section. You'll need dream shards from 666 runs. Similarly, equip the other Elysian weapon too if you have it, so that you can run for both quests at the same time.
The crafting of legendary weapon is only needed if you want to complete that main quest and get the associated AP. You can craft it from your crafting station. You can even craft weapons of other classes too for main quest and AP. But mythic weapon quests require weapons of your own class.
