People saying nerf this nerf that raise this lower this.

My idea is those 3 chests that appear after the pirate commits suicide give us a chance to loot anywhere from 2500-5500 gold per chest. Make it where GL does not have any effect on these chests. This is a win win situation for everyone, also make it where people below 71 get that amount of gold to because some have told me they loot 100 gold or less per chest and that is not fair to them.
Even after nerfing event it is only effecting the non-gold loot players because those gold loot players are still looting 20-30k a run as the non-gl players loot 4k a run.
Removing gold loot from the event is the only way to make the event fair. It will make gold loot decrease in price, but we need a fair event where it doesn't matter what you have.

I got 400-800 gold from the chest sometimes, with 360 gl btw idek hows this possible

is it fair to forbid people who farmed countless hours to get their gold loot gear to use it ? when you say a event that you can make gold without having oo items are you talking about egg hunt event ? people could easily farm 2 or more millions with that event

What made AL better last year is the big variation of mini events and the buff of old events. Some gives lb..some gives op goodies to stash and use for a whole year..some with pure gold drop. Community complains that we always get same kind of events, but when we get something different, there s always something not good in them. This kind of event is made by gold loot, enjoy it..

P.s. the Shark didn't commite suicide, but he escaped to not be killed (captain bloodhammer that you find in kraken skull cove, is the same boss..for the final fight)

thats so unfair.... u could loot 30k in one run with no gloot pre-nerf.....
a better system would be to make the drops steady (i.e not going from 600 to 15000)
i think a good compromise would be to make the drops always be the max (post-nerf max, mind you)
so for example, pre-nerf i would get 30k max (from one chest), now the max i can get from one chest is 15k. but now sts has also lowered the minimum gold drop rate, and made it more likely. so its more likely for me to get 500, 600, 700, 1k, 2k, 3k, etc). i think a fair compromise would be to make the max drop rate (15k in my case) the fixed drop rate from each chest, as this is around half of what we used to be able to make. Since nerf, the max has been halved, but most of the time u only get 1/3 or 1/4 of what u could have, hope u give this some thought im not just crying, thanks

How about this >don't change anything. Those gl users spent hella money on their sets so they could have same drops like those that didn't spend a single dime? Yeah right.

I honestly agree, Cinco has been so... I don't want to seem to be insulting because that's not the point, but you can't criticize a thing he does and you can't make a comment or suggestion without his chiming in and thread closing with some arrogant comment. Not the way a dev should act at all.
