A new event arrives in Arlor tomorrow! Take the Arcanite Fields back from the greedy gnomes who would rather see them home to a big fancy hotel.


​The Arcanite Fields of Vardan Valley

Hidden away in the mountains of Arlor, the Vardan Valley is a land rich with natural resources that has been home to a peaceful farming community for hundreds of years. But, the peace in this beautiful land has been disrupted by a greedy band of gnomes who mean to loot and plunder all of the resources there for their own gain! It's time to step up and help the farmers take back their land by defeating the gnomes and gathering the resources before they can steal them away!

Talk to Farmer Greensnap in Windmoore to learn more about his plight. Enter the energy portal nearby to be transported to the Arcanite Fields, an open space filled with abundant natural resources.

Join your friends and interact with each of 5 different node types: Mineral, Wood, Oil, Fiber and the rare Arcanite to collect them. But, be careful! The gnomes want the resources for themselves! Knock them down and collect tokens that you can use for vanities and gear back in town.

Increase your chances of spawning rareArcanite nodes by equipping an Arcanite Pet before you enter the area!

After mining enough nodes, the gnomes will call upon their boss and leader, the dreaded Pulley Cogsmire, to stop you once and for all. Defeat him for a chance to loot some great gear, including a tradeable version of the event vanities, and even a rare chance to drop a lvl 71 Arcane belt or artifact (whaaaat?)!

After gathering the raw resources, head to the crafting station to refine your materials.

If you have an Arcanite Pet summoned or if you have an Arcanite Pet Egg slotted for Happiness Bonus you will get better odds of finding a node of 'Raw Arcanite' in the event zone.

Raw Arcanite is rare compared to the availability of other resources like wood, oil, fiber and mineral. You will need quite a lot of all these resources to craft any one item - and you will only have the duration of the event to gather them. On that I think it's important to note that the resource requirements for each recipe are very high! So high as to be a deliberate limit the likelihood that any one player can make any item; and instead pressuring players to work together, do a lot of trades, etc. to achieve their goals :-)

The original sneak preview for this event didn’t include vanities or house versions of furniture. The devs did a quick add in, (we begged nicely)so please excuse the recolors. Some is better than none.

Yes. Energy Essence will drop in maps (other than the event zone) and can be crafted into event energy that you can use to enter the Portal.

To the strawberry cupcake question: No, it won't work, as it is not in essence an arcanite pet, if it were it would have arcanite in it's name, it's merely an error in the description, which I'm sure is about to, or will be fixed. Yesterday i said, that weapon vanities looks wonderful. Guess what? They really look, at least for warrior class. That purple effect behind my warrior, when i run is brilliant.

Yes. The Colossal Keep and the furniture items can be crafted after the event is over (provided you have the recipes and all necessary ingredients).
Farmer Greensap is the only one who sells the recipes and he will go away three days after the event ends (otherwise known as a three-day cool-down).
The special 'Arcanite Fields' pet recipes can only be used while the event is active or during its three-day cool-down period.

Both! There are two separate items for each furniture design. If you want to make one for your house, make sure to choose that recipe. :) Same with the guild version.

The way I read it in the craft station, you need both recipes. House throne requires Guild throne as an ingredient. Too high a price for me. I dont see the feasibility in collecting enuff ingredients in any case.

Remember to run with a party that has an Arcanite pet equipped to spawn more arcanite nodes.I guess no one will be able to craft arcanite pet without buying the raw arcanite.. 6,000 is too much. Its really impossible for players without arcanite pet. This event is for rich only. Every map for normal players have 0-3 spawn of the raw arcanite and imagine 4 players in 1 map trying to get it. many players have Speed set which is another factor that normal players have disadvantage.

I dont have speed set and in 5 runs i can only get 2-5 raw arcanite every hour since it take 1 hour to craft energy. Imagine this event will run for 14 days. Every day i can play arcane legends like 6 hours so 6x14=84hours lets say i can get 5 every hour 84x5=420. See 420 is way far from 6,000...

How can i get a chance to craft it lol..

it's not only that 6.000 raw is a very high amount to gather,
the only chance to get some raw arcanite is to run solo.

if in party, there is always one ss user running / checking and
gathering the valuable items.

see the similarity to easter a year ago? this is why the solution
was to make all eggs same color.

also the one fighting mobs will not gather as the bystanders
gathering will be in favour of the loot.

the one first to start gathering will get loot, the rest is getting
nothing. in easter you had to be in range to see and pickup the
eggs. here the loot is gathered and not on the floor.

so no teamplay is possible as everyone is just trying to get most
material from map.

also the boss seems not to appear 100% and sometimes far away
and not visible to players, so they just miss him.

overall .. a solo run with arcanite pet is the only way to play the
event without having to interact with "unfair" players, looting the
best and leave you with the trees and stones..

The concept is interesting, just needs a few tweaks. I added some suggestions.

1. Players don't stick around after boss is dead, end reward for clearing the map is fairly abysmal, typically a random basic ingredient or two. Fix: end reward is always a random amount of arcanite, quality/amount based on effort or map level. Arcanite pet would give its bonus here instead.

2. Few to no arcanite nodes means fastest players run in, grab and go, resulting in arguments or similar. Fix: remove this, see above. Maps should never be designed to encourge animosity between players.

3. Newly arrived players can continue to enter map even after the boss is killed, wasting their time and energy kits. Not good.

4. Gathering meter to collect resources too long; forced time delay makes players bored and uninterested in the task.

5. Spawns are there solely to interrupt and annoy players, and the map is pretty bland after all with just items thrown about on a flat surface. Suggest to add some structures, a gnome garden house, etc as part of scenery to break up the monotony. Make spawns less annoying.

Event has promise, with a few needed fixes could be fun.

gold sink? belt and arti are like down to 8m and 12m .. street price even lower.
this is not a gold sink, it's a kick in da butt for those who bought it for like 20-50m
as few weeks ago.

The up and down and forth and back in this game with change of rules (calvinball)
ist rather interesting. "HC Players and archivement will not interfere the normal toon"
and bamm! bring up HC Char AP to game.


Best to run in party with your alt so it can atleast get the tokens while you get the resources.

everything lootable is currently cheap to buy. so since i'm not a lucky lil maiden, i will

Some feedback after a few hours play.

1. The map is too cluttered. Maybe reduce all items needed to craft (like 3 instead of 30) and lessen the nodes by the same.

2. As people have already said, and I've done it myself almost every run, the arcanite nodes are all anybody is interested in so SS look for arc nodes, kill boss, remap seems to be the norm. Should either hide nodes (same as egg event) or make so everyone in the vicinity gets the drop.

3. Solo pt and afk in event zone exploit for tokens. Those gnomes just keep on spawning -_-

4. Arcanes drop rate is too high again (IMO) and could be a couple hundred k each in 2 weeks if this drop rate continues.

Other than that I'm having fun. Not a bad event at all but a few tweaks required. Ty Sts.

I want to say this program is irregular and why you don't make maps as usual, and what's more there are no crates, I don't understand what Devs is doing with this event, you just need to fix it by reducing the material on the map, I don't want to say you run out of ideas, have fun for everyone and thank you for making the event :)

ik this event is meant to be hard. but the reward isnt worth crazy farming. my idea is how about just add this event as parmenent to the 76 expansion? 6k raw arcanite for free is worth it but we all need time for it. 2 weeks is just too short.

Been reading the suggestions here, good ideas but even ask someone who can just buy 6k raw arcanite and not care about cost. I say it isn't worth it, with that insane fee me as player would have to ask a crazy price for egg then other people will say its "overpriced" not knowing its next to impossible to craft

I agree with the vast majority that 90% is very time consuming to spawn Pulley, however I don't think this should be changed.

Primarily this event is designed to make us play as a team (guild) to achieve a common goal (guildhall)

If the proposed reduction (40-60%) is applied, more people will use the event as a personal gold making mission ie farm belt/arti and not give a damn for materials.

I'm really enjoying looting and crafting materials for the GH and have dropped a couple nice items on the way.

Really nice event, please don't change current mechanics.

Raw Arcanite should drop much easier than what it does on this event. I wanted to craft Nekro so bad. But I finally realized even if got 10 raw Arcanite a run it would still take me 6,000 runs. So then I just stopped grinding for it because I can go a few runs with 0 Raw Arcanite. I was also using an arcane pet & his name is Strawbeary... I was going to name my Arcane Nekro Goldilocks shame that's a good name... The drop rate should be changed.
