Could any Dev confirm if this event will return this year?

To all players- Do you think it's fair to be able to get op awakes only once a year (maybe)?
Recently I've found myself not wanting to awake anything... Because why would i spent tens, maybe hundreds of millions, then have to do it all again when op awake event comes.

With the new shorter seasons, players already holding op ms/boss damage % items have a clear advantage until these awakens are made available again. (Not to take anything away from current runners skill/timing/teamwork at all)

My personal opinion is it should be either always available...or never available. What do you think?

Imo its too late to make these never avaliable again, imagine the profit for ppl who have it. Selling over priced such limited items etc. At this point i think its better to always have them.

No dev gonna confirm it, as that will hamper awake gem sells, because many other players gonna hold back from awakening items now like you are doing. Similar reason that they won't confirm if eggzavier is returning or not.

I think better would be to return it back with 8k awaken sale as last time but i dont think that it will come in this year BUT LETS WISH ALL FOR HOPE

As it goes for zavier that pretty much happens every year anyway devs just won't say what month or time ;)
