Hello all!,
Unfortunately this isn’t my idea. I’m posting this for my friend, Runagain. He told me last night about this idea and I also got interested by it.
Let me explain:
Every players wants an easy way to earn gold and platinum, but also the player wants to put effort in the game.. this might be the solution; A farm!
What’s ‘The Farm?’
The Farm can be seen as a resource of gold that you can collect every day, infact, every minute. It provides you from gold day by day, not too much, not too less. The farm will show up next to your house, no matter the location that will be used.
How much gold will you receive day by day?
Day by day (each 24h) you’ll receive 100k-350k gold and 1-5 platinum, according the level of your farm:
- Level 1 Farm: 100k Gold + 1 Platinum by day
- Level 2 Farm: 200k Gold + 3 Platinum by day
- Level 3 Farm: 350k Gold + 5 Platinum by day
How will the farm be made and from which level is it available?
The farm can be made by items and quests which you can receive all over Arlor, the questline will be around 15-20 hard and challenging quests (ofcourse we won’t make it easy). The Farm is available from level 41, but since the items are all over arlor, you’ll have to face higher levels as well, such as Elites and Hardcore futures.
How will the upgrading part work?
The upgrading part will work as follow:
Once you completed 1 farm, you’ll be able to upgrade it to level 2,
A level 2 farm will require and ‘x’ amount of Elite APs (3/5th of all Elite Quests) after completing this you’ll be able to start a 2nd questline of 5-10 difficult challenges, for example completing a ‘x’ amount of maps among different circumstances ( such as ‘complete max ‘x’ together with 2 friends, all weapons will be disabled’).
The level 3 farm you’ll be able to unlock after you collected some materials through Arlor which you can find by killing mobs (think about armors, helmets etcetc) this will be common drops and everyone will be able to find it (the items can’t be bought from auction)
Are the items that you find tradeable?
No, this to avoid that rich players buy everything.
Extra motivation to the idea
I honestly think it’s a really good idea, it won’t only keep the gold/platinum intact but also it’ll make players enter oldschool maps again and facing the old times of Arlor. This project will give F2P and P2P players the opportunity to earn free resources every 24h.
