Am I the only one who doesn't appreciate recycled vanities in DOTD?...why can't they just put an NPC to customize vanities (they plan to recycle) for platinum?...*Shrugs*...

Ik it's the same as the green parrot, just color was changed(it's thesame thing)

But it's cool to have multicolored stuff to make a custom character that looks original from everyone else:D

I think you guys are doing great things with the game but I believe it would be nicer to be able to buy all vanity items with gold too

That defeats the purpose of the DOTD items. There are 4 vanities for gold. All helms.. Can't you deal with that? They need some way to generate money. Better this then monthly fee. (:

Yes, this is the way the world works. People pay extra for a name brand, simply for fashion, not because it is better quality.
The same is true with this game. People will pay extra for "special" items simply as a fashion statement. There should be some plat expensive fun items in the game. People seem to have a need to own things that are rare and expensive. To make such items common and available with gold is to cheapen the value of these items.
Imagine if you can ride a horse in the game. I think people would pay 2000 plat for that. And, it would be wrong to make it cheaper. Imagine if every player had the horse, then it wouldn't be special. I would hope the price stayed high, and choose just one of my characters to get the horse.
