Chat Bomb?

I am not sure whether to put this in General Discussion or here but decided to put it here. Is there a way to type nothing? I played other games and this is mostly known as a "chat bomb" where a player type some codes (script) and it clears the chat messages. If it is not a "chat bomb", then how to do this? There's probably quite a few "things" you can copy and paste into chat which appear as "nothing".

It happens when you type stuff unknown to the game I think, when I got my phone I tried using some stuff on the keyboard and it just made a blank message like the one in the screeny

When this was in PL, you just used the foreign letters or emoji, not sure if they ever fixed that

Got it. Just wanted to find out if this is a legitimate form of conversation. That's why I put it in this section to find out and report if this is improper. I thought that person was "hacking" with scripts. lol.

Using the ~ in the chat box can get you banned? Why's that if I may know.

Spamming was always ban-able

It's not the use of ~ that's bannable, it's spamming. It's in the Terms of Service.

Those who spam beg, I would argue that yes they could be banned as well.

Filling up the chat with blank lines is spamming, and can get you muted/banned. Being able to do this at all is a bug, which we'll fix.

Bannable? Ouch. I've never written blank but I also never cared if others did. Honestly I thought it was kind of neat. The only spamming I hate is stuff like this:

Sorry for the caps, just thats what I see filling every spot in any towne chat. Same guy with same message over and over and over....That's what annoys me.

Spamming has always been banable, as far as I know. Perhaps seldom enforced but TOS says its a bannable act...
