Eggerton returns this week in Arcane Legends with his barrel 'o fun--I mean eggs--for sale! Killing mobs all around Arlor will have the chance to spawn Eggerton. Each Eggerton will have 3 special Heroic eggs for sale which are not typically found in egg form! Catch him quick though. Eggerton will only stick around for 30 seconds after he spawns!

Eggerton will be available in Arcane Legends from 1:30pm CT on 7/18 - 1:30pm CT on 7/25

Listen sts has given us a lot of free and food stuff this year so far so one plat event isn't bad,and stay by the way if ur gonna do rare eggs,why not zhulong to it still cost like 90 mil,why not add some arcane and heroic rare pet's to vendor for gold as well,would be nice gold sink just not like 20-30 mil for any pet,but yeah hope u can consider this suggestion?

Come on guys, relax ! I am also a free to play player and I also thought it will be some heroic eggzavier so yes I'm also little disappointed. But let's not forget that Sts is a company and just like every company, Sts also needs money to run and give us more great contents.. I think the issue here is that everyone got their hopes up thinking this was going to be eggzavier, the thing is, the devs never actually said it was. Having said that I understand the frustration
but it's not the end of the world considering all the good events (f2p friendly) we had so far. Please just try to understand that plat based events like this one are needed to keep this game that we all love alive. And i want al to live for a very long time :)

Generally speaking, that would be a recipe for massive exploitation unless everything gotten with platinum can't be traded.

Just because this event is mainly for plat buyers doesn't mean that F2P people can't enjoy it. I mean if you took advantage of the double plat offers and didn't spend it then you may have enough to buy an egg still. Anyways, the fact that they are pretty much asking you to spend money should tell you that they need the communities support to make more content. That is no reason to diss them. STS is a company and Arcane Legends is free to play so they have to make money some how. You have to pay your workers if you want them to stick around and make more content. That being said, I understand some players frustration but you need to look at it from a business perspective. Programmers won't stick around if they aren't getting paid.

I love it when they add content regardless if there's ever a free item. It's better than other games I've played where the company completely stopped updating it and adding content of any sort or, the developers allow the game to slowly conforms to the "free mold" that the players ask for and the game completely dies. I recently returned to arcane legends after a 3 year break and people were unhappy about the amount of content for free to play back when I stopped playing and 3 years later this game is the easiest it's ever been for free to play and people still complain and I feel they always will until they are literally handed everything they want in which the game would absolutely die. It takes a certain balance to keep the game running even when we may not like it. +1 to this and any other content to come. I'll also give a big +1 for micro transactions. Just because they're there doesn't mean you have to spend anything. Most people do not want micro transactions but like it or not, it keeps any game alive longer and provides more content to us players.

I feel like we should just have 3-5 heroic pets in the store in limited quantities and just switch the heroic pets out every hour, and call it a sale instead of an event. Lots of people dislike the pop up plat vendors. Also, heroic pets for currencies like: hauntlet tokens, story tokens, and other currencies that are outdated would be a good idea. Or even selling them for gold, it would be a good gold sink for the economy and make non plat buyers happy.

Guys no need to be frustrated, free players can take it as a normal no event week.. there isn't any harm in plat event, sts also needs some events to hire good team and make awesome stuffs for us.

Look at other side of coin, rare eggs are available that means there prices may drop, so now f2p players can buy the eggs for cheap :)
And since plat users gonna spend plats on eggs means plat users will have less plats, crate keys will be more valuable

Well now I know it's a plat event and I wasn't sure in my previous post but that does not change my opinion.
The devs have worked hard and we have had some good updates, events and improvements to the game and players who buy platinum pay so that f2p can have all the aforementioned updates.

Eggerton will be available in Arcane Legends from 1:30pm CT on 7/18 - 1:30pm CT on 7/25

funny to see everyone complaining about this event, if you don't like it you can skip it and just enjoy the game, I'm sure the devs will make an amazing event after this, by the way I'm sure this event is profitable for all, thanks for the best devs live game :)

the thrill to pay to get to the top in a competitive environment always outweighs any form of direct schematics.
This event discourages plat buyers in a discreet way because why would they spend plat if they would think that future events would rekindle and shadow the past ones where free eggs are given? a sudden change is disastrous if untimely.
Hmmm..I just thought of another way it may discourage plat buyers.
Not all plat buyers like everyone to know that they purchase plat because of the negative comments from f2p players. So, only plat buyers will be running around looking for the vendor, no point in f2p looking.

I think the community in general is very ungrateful. Everyone has been praising sts event after event this year and now mouthing off since this event is not to anyone’s liking.

" +1 to this" "Remove plat offers from game" " this event is for plat buyers" " no, we want eggzavior". There will always be premium items or services to anyone willing to open their wallet. That's how it works. It's just smart business. Think if it like your the head of a company and you spend a lot of time, money and probably months or maybe even years of hard work into giving away a FREE game to people and in return players are completely unhappy about there being an event available to anyone with platinum. Not just plat buyers but anyone with platinum that would like to spend it on a certain egg they need or want. It doesn't mean you have to spend on plat to enjoy this event. Just sit it out and pretend it didn't happen if your unhappy with it. And just to clarify, plat buyers are not getting anything free here. They're getting what they pay for. It's like getting upset at the grocery store because they had a sale on meat when you didn't have any money and other people were able to take advantage of the sale. That's how crazy it is to get upset at an event like this especially considering how the game has changed over the last few years for free to play. It's easier than ever to earn loads of gold just farming and not spending a dime. *Gasp* okay I'm done. 😀

For me it looks like, sts wants people to missclick while running maps... I cant imagine anyone spent 1750 plat (100 euro/dollar) for 1 pet
