Whats the benefit of this? Theres already an option in the settings to “confirm plat purchases” so you don”t buy anything by accident and all toons on the same account share the same plat already

I thought that crossed my mind. Make Plat buyable Kits similar to how Awakening Gems are. You can buy and it goes directly to your account( Like Normal) or can buy and can stash and sell to others. I think this would help out the F2P community. People who can't spend money in this game can buy Plat Kits( Example 1700 Plat Kit) from Plat Buyers. I don't think this would hurt plat sales at but increase them.

That's solid I didn't even think of that angle. But now F2P player's don't have to feel left out or skip events. Events can be for everyone whether you spend RL Money or not. And Sts still makes money to keep the game running. A Win/Win for everyone Imo.

Isn't plat already stashable in that you can access it from all your different toons? Or do you mean like you can take your plat and transfer between accounts or trade? Imo that seems very risky because there are already issues with account sellers and plat farmers and I feel like people would just try to exploit this. Introducing multiple tradeable currencies into a game needs a lot of thought.

Account selling is going to exist in any game no matter what. Only thing that can be done about that is when you catch it, take the appropriate action necessary. But Plat Farming on the other hand, that only exist because of Plat Offers. Now I don’t know what kind of Contract/Deal Sts has with a company like Tapjoy…I think I speak for many when I say Tapjoy sucks and like one forum user posted awhile back they have a lot of complaints and low business rating among many websites. For many F2P players Plat Offers and Plat Eggs(Which are only obtainable once a year from a event) is the only way they can get Plat. If it’s possible business wise get rid of Plat Offers. As a Plat Buyer who’s Total Plat Purchase is over 200K(Ofc without effecting RL..Bills Etc), I buy Plat to make fast gold to buy the items that I think will take my Tanking Performance to the next Lvl…But this doesn’t mean I don’t farm or grind for things like any other player. I have opened locks but I don’t like to. If there was a better option to making fast gold then wasting time undercutting player’s selling Elite Awake Gems lol, and helping the F2P player’s, and Sts still making money then I’m all for it. On paper and logically a move like this makes sense. F2P have been complaining for years about Plat Exclusive Events and other things. And I don’t blame them, for some people and countries being able to spend money on AL is just not realistic and I understand that.

I’m the type of player who cares about Stats, Performance and Results. I’m not a Mercher and excuse my language… but could give 2 $hets about LB Vanities. I didn’t go to College for Business so there might be a deeper aspect I’m missing about this whole idea and I’m ok way that.
