I have yet to get an XP orb from Ebonthrax as well :P
I've got xp orbs from ebonthrax many times xD

Yeah, ever since I hit 107 I'm dropping orbs like crazy from Ebon.

this was pre hyper-thrax upgrade, since then i have received plenty and now chew on my cloak.
