Random person comes up to me and says, "Hi can my lvl 61 bird (main) loan your set?" I was like HELL NO! Then he was like STFU. People, why would you go up to someone and ask them for your set? Plain dumb.

That is pretty "out there"...however, a kinder response probably wouldn't have provoked a flame from the asker......just sayin'

No, because that's a pretty dumb question to ask. Coming up to me and asking for my set? I don't even know you?!

I had a mage do the same thing to me yesterday! They were very rude about it, and then their last comment to me was you're very nice and you passed the test. Weird!

A simple "no" would have sufficed. Not like he demanded or wanted you to give. Ever thought that maybe your reaction led to theirs?

Wow this ones going to get out of hand lol.
I've been playing pl for over a year now. love it. Out of all this time I have committed to it I have come acrossed alot of beggers and more than half the time a simple no does not work. So way not have a lil fun with it. After all pl is just a game. Now in rl im the type of guy that when I see beggers with there signs asking for money cause they hunger i'll go buy em taco bell. Mmmmmmmmm.......tacos

Hi! If I beat you in pvp, could I have your set? I'm pretty poor right now and can't afford a set. I only have 200k. :(

I don't know if its just the Christmas season or what, but the beggars have been extra active recently. I feel like I get asked for money/gear/leveling every time I visit the CS.

Also, I don't know, why but people love to ask you into a trade and then put random items in there and then throw out some ridiculous price. 2 green level 25 items and a grey. 1500g plz.

I just throw in the best gear I have, press confirm and then see how long they will wait for me press the final confirm.

You should have told him, "yeah, sure, you can borrow my set!" and then put it all in the trade box and set a timer to see how much patience he has.

Never go onto a level 10 with twink level 10 holiday gear. You get greedy level 60's saying "I'll buy your toyman wand, 300 gold..." Screw off hippie.

I had a similar experience today. Annoying! I'll just ignore the person & don't even engage them but it's ok just to have some fun back at them I think...they get what they deserve.

Out of the blue...some Mage friend requests me & asks to have my pink WF candlewand & shield on my twink bear. "oh sure! Here u go..................yeah right! " I just don't understand some players like that just hanging out loitering around. See somebody with top end gear & ask them if I can have it?? It's like if I saw someone wearing a Rolex watch...."oooh can I have that?". Does that make any kind of sense?! Can I have your Mercedes? Lmao
I suppose non-stop begging can pay off occasionally? Some people might be giving them stuff.

Actually I find the high levels trying to scam the low levels the most disturbing. I get this a lot on my low levels also. There're apparently lots of high levels who do not know that the things they're wanting for 100g from the lowly level 10 aren't tradeable...

Alternatively, for some items, I tack on a 100k-500k 'take off' fee, in addition to the usual price for the item, for asking me to remove the item I'm am wearing in order to sell it. I understand from some of these people that this is unreasonable :p
