For those of you who do not keep up with this project, I figured I would let you in on some big news announced today.

Veraxon has signed an agreement with Aeria Inc. This will bring WoM to their gaming hub of over 32 million users (As well as open up WoM to the Japan market).

Bigbig news for this small company.

Ok, so I know this is a super-necro, but I didn't want to create a new thread about this game.

It seems like a (beta) version of world of Midgard has finally been released on iOS today. It's called faction wars, and I could only find it via a link on their website.

I almost forgot about this game when I got an E-mail about its release.

Don't get me wrong, I don't want to hate on the game, but seriously... Maybe it's the horrible interface, the fact that a lot of buttons send you to your browser, the clunky movement or the many crashes.. Idunno, it made me seriously appreciate what STS is offering us here.

Seeing as this game has been in development forever, I wonder how many more months they'd need to make this game actually playable/enjoyable.

I got the same email today but I refuse to go back until the game is playable (out of beta) I tried over 6 months ago and couldn't get past how clunky the user interface was, the game play is choppy , 90 percent of the quests are bugged. I checked back last month and nothing had changed....

But hey... There is always next year...lol

If they win an award, it'll probably be for worst interface ever LOL

I tried it for the first time today, but my guess is nothing has changed from when you last played it. I have 20/20 eyesight and I seriously had to look really close to the screen to even be able to read the text for some missions (on latest iPad). I pressed like all buttons to get rid of some giant screen with super tiny letters in it. The graphics seems 'stuck' sometimes, like when I thought that was some weird foilage all over the place and found out they were actually supposed to be animals LOL

I could go on an on, I just never expected it to be THAT bad.

Rofl, suprisingly when i get on here and there to global chat, there infact is a lot of people who know about the STS games haha im like well... Why you playing this choppy slow fps game? They no reply >.<

Technically, Faction Wars is the prequel to World of Midgard... Still terrible game-play though.

Lol wtf is this? Holy choppy hell. A lot of the options sent me to the browser, which logs me out of the game. I try walking and rotating the camera and it just zooms in and out. This is why apple doesn't allow betas lol. Masking the game as complete with a different title doesn't help the company. Anyone popping in the store looking for an mmorpg won't know that it's in beta and will just delete the game from their devices and their memory.

For a game that charged a crap ton of money for mounts before the game even came out, the quality doesn't reflect that and it's development time. This is like another version of Celtic heroes. Looks like the STS games and order & chaos are still king.
