The best thing to do is to take a deep breath while you study for your exams test.

As soon as you wake up in the morning, go straight to the kitchen, have a good healthy, nutritional breakfast <-- this helps ALOT.
If you ride the bus, think to yourself "I can do this, I can do this." BE AS CONFIDENT AS POSSIBLE.

When you're taking the test, don't rush. Take your time. Think out and understand each question. In the end, I'm sure you'll get the grade you wanted. :)

Paar I am not good with homework in Highschool but I do awesome in my test and exams (Currently in honors math). I just wanna say these tips:
Don't stress it out (act excited)
Research correctly (Take breaks and work on your flaws)
Instead of breaking all of your technology, which is kinda fun if it wasn't yours, use them to your advantage to look up some things online (No Facebook whatevers or wiki)

I also recommend you read the questions first so you know what to look for when reading (if you read any) paragraphs.
Uhm idk if they allow you to chew gum, but my math teacher used to let us to help us concentrate something about the brain and idk what else lol. :)

I remember chewing gum back in second grade. *has a cutesy childhood moment* I think they said something about gum chewing for people who have ADHD.

Our teacher said that 1 type of gum helped the brain. I can't remember which...peppermint? I think that's it.
He said that smelling peppermint would help the brain, during an MSP test last year.

Remember, stressed is just desserts spelt backwards. Be positive, and when you enter that exam room, go in with confidence. All the best to you!

What I suggest you do. This is a life-long tip that will help you with school.

Taking notes is the MOST important part of attending a class, IMO. Now, I might go nerdy on this, but I like to record my teacher's lectures with a voice recorder. Your iPod or iPhone will easily have this. You can hide it under a notebook or something and it will record all class. Why do I do this? I, like any other student, gets bored pretty easily. Sound is the fastest way to transfer information.

When you take notes, your teacher will often give you little "break" sections. In those break sections, just repeat those notes 3 times to yourself. You don't have to repeat the entire page, but fact by fact. Also, don't mindlessly repeat it, try to understand the information.

Why do I do this? When tests are announced, I'm not scared nor do I have to cram. I already know everything because I thought ahead and saved time. You don't have to be smart to ace high school; you just got to know how to manage your time efficiently.

P.S: The voice-recorder is why I can fall asleep in classes and not be screwed the next day, bahahaha. I can't tell you how many times it's saved me.

Candy Canes= Love. Also, they are an awesome breath mint! :D

I always was impatient though and couldn't lick the candy cane till it was pointy. I ALWAYS ended up giving in to the urge to munch on it; infact, I still do today.

Very sorry, I dont have any NEW tips :P
Get a good amount of restful sleep (atleast 10 hours).
Eat a good breakfast, with the entire food pyramid in it. Pancakes, Bacon, Eggs, OJ, Bananas, Toast, Milk, Yogurt, or even a vegetable like squash or carrots.
Take a watch to the test to pace yourself (no alarms), and remember: dont overly stress. A little stress will keep you aware and make you care about the test amd its results. Overly stressing can cloud your mind, and can cause you to forget important things.
And most of all, BE PREPARED! If you have any reason to doubt yourself, dont worry. Its probably just your mind. Just study, dont cram. Keep your mind in good condition.
I gave you pretty much all the info I got in my "Preparing for the ACT" packet. Taking it in February, cant wait! Good luck on your test!

I CANNOT finish one candy cane without having the urge to munch it. -.- It's kinda a bad habit for me, since we have to be extremely quiet in our classes, and when I suck on it I always drool (which is embarassing) since I'm not the drooling type :p

Hm...well these are the tips that I have made up and have heard through my short but still going student career(only 8th grd)
• Review the material. Just the basic stuff, then when you got that down go into the more detailed stuff like: execption to the rules, why they are, and how they are
• Test your friends because believe it or not they might know stuff about the subject better than you.
• Take the exam like any other everyday test: be calm, take your time( unless you know the answer just by reading the question once)
• Finally eat frosted flakes they are good for you and they taste okay, get rest some nice quality rest and I mean some sleep with all of your little pieces of your imagination going wild and creating an epic dream.
