Now i see the new vanity and my exp is not going over 500 until next update

Yeah, it's a pretty sad sight when compared to the other classes but there is a "good" reason for it. Here is the official explanation as to why the armor is they way it is:

I spoke with the art team and there is a really good reason for this armor to remain the way it is. Each set of armor, taken as a whole, has an art "budget". This budget dictates that any one armor set can only have so much cool, flashy stuff going on at once. This is for performance reasons. The Commando vanity torso armor looks the way it does because the budget was mostly spent on another, very awesome piece in the set that is coming in the future. I can't show it to you yet, but it's pretty astounding. I was all for changing the torso piece until I saw what it allowed us to do with the set.

Take heart, Commandos. Your glory days will come!

Unfortunately this probably means that the "budget" will be spent on one piece of the set, probably the back armor so the arms and legs will both be as much of a letdown as this chest piece is. I wonder how many coms out there are going to skip the elite grind based on this alone. Guess those lessons my parents taught me weren’t in vain: Don't spend all your money in one place.

I grinded all the way to 41 for this vanity, got it and haven't worn it since. I don't see the whole reasoning behind it.

I'd rather have two decent looking pieces over one excellent looking and one bad looking pieces.

People will still grind for it, because it's a limited-time item that will eventually be part of a set. They might not wear it until then... but you know. It's there. Why not. Go for it. ;)

Ok, do me a favor you commandos. Go get the biggest most bulky armor you can, meganaut should suffice. Put it on with a proper com gun, not a pistol and shield. Now look. How much chest armor can you actually see?

From what flip said, I hope that means we dont have crappy Op pieces coming on the way. I wonder if it would be hard for them to just tidy up the chest a little, not add any new stuff to it. (For Coms)

Thankyou DP! This post was starting to a little flaming. Back to an earlier post:

I've read Flip's post over and over and he never said that the arms and legs are going to be bad or that the back'll be the best. Remember that the chest is the lest seen piece of the set so they took this to improve the others even more.
