Arcane Legends' level 76 expansion takes us to the distant Arcanite Mountain region and a lush green settlement called "Vardan Valley." This peaceful town is the center of a secretive frontier society's plan to colonize the resource-rich hills and spread their faithful word. Unfortunately these plans have been crushed to a halt by the emergence of a violent subterranean species called "The Mogera." Vardan Valley was decimated in the sudden Mogera attack. Desperate for help, the valley folk have sent an emissary to Brackenridge to recruit help from Arlor's legendary heroes.

Check the mailbox in town for a letter from Vardan Valley's emissary "Goody Greensap." She is charged with entreating capable fighters to come to the valley folks' defense - and can be found in the Windmoore Tavern doing just that.

Speak with Goody Greensap in the tavern to learn more about Vardan Valley and the perils that the valley folk face at the hands of the Mogera. Then sail to the Arcanite Mountains, hike along the Valley Pass, and stride through the Valley Gates. In the center of Vardan Valley town you will find Goody's itinerant husband, Farmer Greensap: the duly-elected leader of his imperiled commune.

Your first task will be to investigate the massive sink-hole on the north side of town. Mogera burst from this hole during the attack, taking the villagers by surprise - and taking their lives in wholesale fashion.

A sprawling warren of underground caves comprise the Mogera lair: rocky tubes filled with virulent mole-men and their spider beasts.

Defeat the Mogera in their lair to advance progress toward two (2) cyclical event areas accessible from Vardan Valley town: the Valley Frontier and the Greensap Farm.

The Valley Frontier

When enough Mogera have been defeated (check the World Map for goal progress) the villagers will attempt to erect new settlements in the Valley Frontier territory. Speak with Olivia Wells, the Valley's chief builder, for more information.

Travel through the Valley Frontier portal and protect the development from attacking Mogera! You will face multiple waves of powerful enemies and the terrifying "Skul Dozer:" a massive earth-moving machine driven by an evil disembodied Mogera brain!

The Greensap Farm

Likewise, when sufficient attack has been sustained against the Mogera the Greensap Farm will become available. Farmer Greensap will provide information about the area's availability and will urge you to harvest all of the ripened resources.

You will find marauding Mogera attacking the farm resources. If the Mogera succeed, you will not be able to harvest the crop! So... stop them. Preserve and collect as many raw resources as you can. Beware the approach of "Jord Skratch:" a cruel and clever Mogera at the helm of a dangerous power-suit!

Defeating "Skull Dozer" and "Jord Skratch" will advance a final goal: The Valley Gates Gauntlet!

The Valley Gates

On the southeast side of Vardan Valley you will find the Nott named Kwelas Therax standing guard.

When the Mogera's first-tier bosses (Skull Dozer, Jord Skratch) have suffered a large number of defeats, the Mogera will launch an all-out desperate attack on the valley's most vulnerable zone: the Valley Gates.

Enter the Valley Gates and repel as many waves of Mogera as you can! Face the villainous "Dred Duggar:" an even more evil Mogera in an even more powerful suit, and send him packing.

Collect "Vale" currency, the coin of the Vardan Valley people, to trade with Goody Wells.

The seasonal leaderboard is not at all related to the 76 fastcap event. It goes on its regular cycle, regardless of what else may be going on.

Will there be some bonus xp mechanic in the new maps such as in festerfang? (Aka kill certain amount of enemies in certain amount of time for boost) Otherwise I feel most people will spend their time leveling in festerfang as opposed to the new map.

To clarify, when you descend into the Mogera's lair you'll run one map, but this map will be randomized from a series of possible maps. :) So, multiple maps, but one at a time, randomly. Hope this makes sense!

But the expansions item's are what's far more important to fuel the grind.

Either way, i'll keep a neutral stance on the Lv76 cap teasers until the final products released.

I agree with zl aura... It should be as it is.. Ppl paid alot of gold for the aura and sts just remove it now during expansion. Since this was by design when the pet was release by removing the aura now makes things worst....

I agree with you. Even I also have Zhulong and tbh the huge aura was too much.. It overshadowed everything in a town or a map. Good thing that it got removed.. No pet or gear or vanity should have this much of Aura.. Zhulong still have his normal aura and his stats so it's fine.. The people who bought Zhulong only for show off are disappointed lol

Tyvm but i don't think the feedback of the community was exactly this, i just test my ebon aegis in mauso 6 at level 72 and i already feel the nerf, please don't nerf it that much, cuz the way i see it is that at lvl 76 it will be completely useless

I was a bit disappointed that you allowed people to buy their way to the 76 badge. I just capped and would have considered fighting for it, but knowing that players were buying platinum to reach it in 10 minutes made it seem pointless.

However I do look forward to the rest of the content you are to bring us this year ^^

I may be failing to understand here..... Is the only way to get new gear, other than the mythic amulet, to drop legendary gear from the crafted locked?

I am enjoying the "concept" and the "look" of the new maps but I feel that at the moment they're really failing to give us a motive to run them.

I don't think vanities have a big enough pull - I'd love to be farming towards competing a new gear set. If you're holding off on arcanes (which I thinkis right as arcane were meant to last 1- 2 expansions/as best in slot) then perhaps a new mythic set with varying paths to obtaining it would be awesome and keep us engaged with the new maps. For example with the mythic amulet and ring farmable, mythic helm and armor for vales, and a craftable mythic weapon.

Speaking of weapons - please make bows competitive with daggers so that players have a real choice of gameplay style?

It used to be that bows had more dmg and less armor/health, where daggers had higher dps and more armor/health so each had pros and cons.

These days bows come out and literally have half the stats all over in comparison to daggers which is really disappointing for players like myself who favour a bow playstyle.

I can’t help wondering that I’ve seen these places before...oh yes..event maps..I’m not going to make any rash decisions atm...I live in hope that this is just a dream...after all its 12 months or so in the making so I’m still awaiting the new expansion!
