It's snowing bc the devs are so powerful, they can make it snow in space and in planets!

Well Blackstar's snow could either be advanced holographics, or they've managed to essentially put snow makers in all the vents. Expensive and the mess on the floor would be horrid, but a colony/ship rich enough (like BlackStar must certainty be) could do it for special occasions.

Blackstar I understand... but Numa? Nevermind the fact it's a desert world (though potentially a /cold/ desert.

It's not snow. They're bug wings, shed when the bugs molt. For some reason, humans think they look like snowflakes.

In Pocket Legends it snows in Alien Oasis, which is a desert. Lol xD
