Hello!
Many people are complaining that the gold limit should be exceeded to let’s say 999,999,999 but my idea it to make a special vendor who will provide two services.
The first one will allow players to change their gold for special tokens which will be tradeable. Let’s say 1M for 1 token.
The second service will allow players to swap their coins back to gold for the same rate.
So let’s say that someone is selling a rare vanity for 1B. The buyer will change his gold to tokens (99M/99tokens at a time) and then put stack of x999 tokens into the trade window and use them to complete the trade. The buyer will then be able to redeem the tokens for gold.

-1. It just looks somehow easier to make scams this way.

I'd rather have an extra digit for the money.

Just make cap 999m :D doing the token thing would take more time to implement.

Though I’m not sure if it’s exactly what you’re talking about, I do think having some kind of “token” would be a good idea. Currently, encrusted vanities can be sold from inventory for 1m gold. It would be nice if there was an NPC who sold a chest for 1m gold that contained 1m gold. This would allow people to have up to 999m gold on one person (with 999 of these chests ) yet not having to increase the total amount of gold that you can have at a time.

Yes, that’s what I was thinking. Some currency or item which can be bought and sold for the same amount of gold.
