Elondria faces the threat of vile evil once more!

Five long years ago, the troll Ursoth opened a portal and assaulted Arlor from his native realm of Elondria. An Orc Blood shaman named Bloodgrub discovered one of Ursoth's portals but was soundly defeated before she could prevail. Bloodgrub, having dealt in dark magic her whole life, has discovered a new way to grow in power, and she is spreading her corruption throughout Arlor. Now the Elondrian Rangers need your help. Help them fight off Bloodgrub's corruption and return Elondria to its natural splendor!

Ursoth's Assault will run for 10 days, starting on Thursday, 10/10/19 ~1:30 PM CT and ending on Sunday, 10/20/19 at 1:30pm CDT with a 3 day cooldown.

How to Play

It begins by talking to an Elondrian Ambassador in most major cities. You can also go to Elondria via the Main Map.

Energy

Energy is used to enter the portal to fight Ursoth's Assault bosses. One energy point will refill automatically every 8 hours. Refill your energy faster by collecting energy essences from monsters all around Arlor and crafting them into energy kits. Rarely, bosses will drop an entire energy point to fill one energy slot. Or, purchase Energy Kits from other players via the Consignment Shop for gold. You may also purchase energy for platinum at the Elondria token vendor or as you enter the portal in town.

Enter the portal in Elondria to visit the event boss zone to defeat the newly corrupted bosses and earn loot and tokens to trade for limited edition items and vanities. There are 5 bosses to fight in Ursoth's Assault. Harder bosses may appear at higher tiers and grant more rewards and tokens. Defeat bosses to earn points and progress through the tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum to fight:

+ Herond the Forest Sprite
+ Europhex the Basilisk
+ Helena, Lady of the Forest
+ The Great Troll Ursoth

Then, there's: Bloodgrub.

Bloodgrub's Altar becomes active after you have killed one of the corrupted bosses in the Event Zone. Using Blood Grub's Doll will open a portal to BloodGrub's Fane, granting temporary access to everyone in the immediate vicinity. This portal will always take you to Bloodgrub.

Bloodgrub's Doll is composed of components from the event and the main world.

Bloodgrub's Doll

Players craft Bloodgrub Dolls from store purchased Energy Kits and Specific Bloodgrub ingredients:

- Cracked Nature Jewels x4 (Rare)
- Bloodgrub Hair x5 (tradeable, stashable) Drops from everywhere in the world
- Bloodgrub Visage x1 (Legendary, tradeable, stashable) Drops from the lesser and greater free to open chests during the event
- Rotten Branch x4 (tradeable, stashable) Drops from enemies in the Event Zone
- Creeping Rot x9 (tradeable, stashable) Drops from bosses in the Event Zone at all tiers

Bane Item: Elondrian Ward

Using a Recipe dropped from Bloodgrub and Ursoth players can now craft an upgraded version of the Elondrian Ward that will also grant them extra damage in the event zone!

Tiered Rewards

Defeat the event bosses to gain points and fill the tiers from Bronze to Platinum. Each tier will grant you special loot only available during this event.

At bronze tier you'll receive 25 Tokens to spend at the Vendor.

At Silver Tier you'll receive 3 Ethereal Elondrian 2019 Chests, which have a chance to drop Epic and Legendary gear and Arthur, the new Unicorn pet (Legendary).

At gold tier you'll receive Morgana the new Mythic Unicorn pet! You will also receive two Elondrian Gossamer Decor Chests, with a chance to loot some rad furniture.

And, finally, at Platinum Tier you receive a new title: [Primeval Protector]. Available only to those who go above and beyond to reach the highest event tier. You will also receive the Elondrian Angelic Sword banner, an Ursoth's Assault Farmer's Elixir, and the aforementioned Infernal Corruption Furnace back item. The Farmer's Elixir significantly increases drop rates in the event dungeon, and will remain active for the entirety of the event.

The Top 50 Leaderboard Winners (for each class) will receive: 100 Ankhs and the Gossamer Gambol Wings

The leafy chest is the most common and will drop off of event bosses. These chests have a chance to drop epic gear, a couple of legendary sets (Corrupted Spirit), gold, ankhs and energy kits. They can also be combined to craft....

Ethereal chests. These rare chests sometimes drop off of The Great Troll Ursoth and Bloodgrub, or can be obtained by combining 3 Leafy Chests at the Crafting Station.

Gossamer Decor Furnishing Chests. These rare chest can be purchased from the token vendor and have a chance to drop from Bloodgrub. Chest will contain exclusive Elondrian furniture that includes a new Elondrian Fountain, Footlocker and Birdcage! Chest will only be available during the event and will cost 20 plat to open...

Snag the recipe(s) from the token vendor to craft this special edition locked crate using Locked Marshland Crates. These crates have a chance to drop anything from a regular Locked Crate, but also includes some awesome items. The recipes will allow you to continue to craft Crates of the Gossamer Wing until the event cooldown ends!

These crates can contains Guenivere's Egg, Lancelot's egg, Morgana's Egg, Level 76 Arcane Artifacts: Valley Talisman of the Fade, of the Warlock, of the Keep, Elondrian Mythic Belts, Infernal Brimstone vanity weapons, the Infernal Brimstone vanity armor and helmet, and the Gleaming Chrysalis vanity weapon items.

The Lvl 76 AA Proc is very interesting. In Order and Chaos one of the base skills for DPS War Talent Tree Path, was a proc that reduced HP for more Damage. And luckily I have HP to spare lol. Hmm maybe time to finally part ways with AA Lvl 60.

It was a fine suggestion. I've tested this in local PvP and feel that it is an appropriate proc... that said if general opinion is that the effect should be nerfed (or eliminated) from PvP I will definitely consider it.

I appreciate the new vanities nd banner but man. Recolored tyranicas and ventdor vanities. Guess just gonna enjoy it. And btw plat tier is waaaay to high to achieve especially if you're busy and cannot play frequently. I suggest you guys to maybe lessen it below 10k.

Ideally it should be a Health or Armor boost. Since it already has 80 Armor, a 3% Health buff would be perfect. :3

Actually i believe sts would need to clarify. If you read carefully, the post says "guenivere's egg" is in the loot table for the event specific locked crates. It does not mention heroic guenivere's egg.

I've already quit and sold 75% of my 7 year collection of things so it doesn't matter to me but I was the player who purchased the "last" shady and surge egg from the 2014 ursoth event and I paid 150m for it. 150m back amongst that arcane legends economy is equivalent to roughly 750m in today's arcane legends economy to put it into perspective and it was said it would not be released again. Of course now it's actually one of the cheaper arcane pets available. That's on me of course. I chose to buy it, BUT, it would have been a MAJOR factor in my decision to spend such an amount for the "last" chance to get this "LB Exclusive" pet, had I known it actually would be released again. Although all of this is irrelevant. My only point is, LB Exclusive pets may not be the way to go, even should it only for a short time.

Now the War Class naturally already has very high HP compared to the other classes. With Awakening Event there is now more 20K HP Wars...Hell every now and then I see this 24K HP War chilling in towns lol. My point is... balance wise... the loss for a gain proc effect should be equal for all classes. The addition of 3% HP when you already have high Str, and high Str%/HP% Awakes is a big gain HP wise. Meaning the HP Loss from Proc won't effect War Class even more almost like a loophole tbh. Armor % is a no for me to, because well... It's useless in Pve and is already a big problem in Pvp.

Warriors need more dmg in PvE. More armor and hp doesn't help speed up a map run when warriors hardly die in the first place. Current content is not hitting hard either. How about a blend of the other 2 artifacts?

Actually the dex artifact has 3% crit, not dodge. Only the str version of the artifacts is sporting the 3% dodge.

my bad, thx for correcting me, but crit is the same as dodge to me after a certain lv a low amount of %-ish aint worth it, since rogues are supposed to be tze dmg dealers the mage artifact should be the rogues 1, meaning rog should get dmg as well, or something usefull, coz like i said i see no point in low % "useless stats", Rouge ramps up enough crit with aimed shot alrdy. Just my opinion tho.

If mages get Damage and Rogues get Crit, I don’t see why tanks shouldn’t get a buff that is useful for them. And what do you mean give something to gain something? The proc clearly says you get both 25% Health and Damage, you don’t give anything. Maybe you should re-read it.

Bloodgrub visage is way too rare. I’ve opened loads of leafy chests without seeing it and am now crafting ethereal chests but those take 12 hours. The Goblin Mother altar piece was much easier to get ingredients for. Do you truly intend for the altar to be about 800,000 per run?

Energy drop rate is ok for me but yes the visage and the purple galaxy wings for rogues are so rare.. Along with this two, the new infernal vanity armors are also nowhere to be found.. Haven't seen even a single one so far. And now those lucky people who will manage to loot some, will list at crazy high prices.. So I hope the vanity drops rates increase and also the visage

I agree.... Especially with players having speed sets equipped..... Sometimes they get to the boss and slay in seconds before you get there.... More challenging event mobs and bosses would be good.......

There is no reason to have this many hair when you can't even get a visage to craft a doll. Few can afford to pay 1 m per doll. There needs to be a way to craft a doll that is even possible. Last year it was not at all like this so this must be intentional that you want few to have a chance to kill bloodgrub. Also fewer days for the event but the same points to reach plat and then no visage....?????

If they are concerned with the items drop, just keep drop rare.
But mostly of people in game will end the event without even complete the quest of Killing bloodgrub or ever meet the boss.

I'll be running the whole even without killing Bloodgrub even once because paying nearly 1 mill for one run is not even in the realms of worth it.

Many people buy them up front then charge party members to join but even if play ursoth my gold would be gone in the blink of an eye so I'm just passing.

"Farming" something is supposed to be you run and run and run to farm the drop you want in the hope of getting richer. It shouldn't be that the farming runs makes you significantly poorer for having run them.
