Asking due to Hiberio hb.
So what exactly is % elite damage? Does it work the same on both mobs and bosses? Does it only work in “elite maps”? Would it not work then in maps such as maus 6 or deep marsh since they technically aren’t “elite”?
Any information is appreciated. Thanks.

The elite dmg works only in elite dungeons and it multiplies your dmg. For example: if you have 100% elite dmg you'll do double of the dmg that you are doing normally. But I may be wrong. So be free to correct me.

Elite means elite maps... & damage would work like this. If ur damage is 10,000 & elite bonus is %15 it would equal out like this 10,000 x .15 = 1,500 & that would be ur bonus damage.

I don't believe so because it has a real elite map called timekeeper's crypt. But that is a valid point.
Mauso 5 and 6 are considered elite map

Elite maps are all maps under "Elite" category including the raids and maus m4+.
The last I checked %Elite Damage didn't work on raid bosses, so I think it is limited to mob damage. %Boss Damage works on any boss - normal or elite.
This info is more than 6 months old because I was off, please test this and update the thread or may be a dev can confirm the same.

When they add elite runner chest to a map it usually mean the map is elite, and i am pretty sure it have been confirmed by a dev but i can't find the thread

Elite damage affects everything in maps tagged as elite, including bosses. Maus and Deep Marsh are not considered elite. Timekeeper's Crypt is. Hydra and Infested were the elite maps for the Festerfang expansion.

I didn't make those maps, don't know the logic. I just looked at whether they're tagged as elite, and they aren't.

Any chance of changing deep marsh and m5-6 to “elite”? Considering these are the hardest maps in the game right now it seems like it would make sense. Anyway, thanks for all the info and answering questions.

Elite Damage should only work on Elite maps. That is kind of the whole point of the Elite World Map to get there. As far as difficulty IMO Timekeeper’s Crypt > M6

crypt and m6 have mobs higher for 10lvl than you, both maps are same difficulty (i think so)

I ran both lvling up and I much preferred lvling up in M5 & M6 with you & others than running Timekeeper's Crypt.
But that could have been because of the gl in Maus compared to the hardness of Crypt with no real gl.

I slotted Hiberio in several HB pets and stats are buffed only in Hydra map. Damage Buff is not visible in any other Elite maps (Infested, Crypt....)
@Devs please could you check and fix.

It doesn't affect your displayed damage stat, it affects the amount of damage done. It's working as expected.

Then what does buff my base damage by 20% in Hydra map ? (Base Damage = 3080 => Base Damage in Hydra =3697)
I tried wihout any equipment/pet and got the same (19.7 => 23.6)

It's a map+class specific buff.
