Fathom Crypt Grinding

I am currently left with slightly less than 40k xp more to lvl 66. Did 60k xp without elixirs. I am going to get 4xs for dang runs but I have heard from people that fathom crypt is much faster.
Anyone help me out and explain it to me?

Idk if its quite that fast, but its easy and fast, and u get loads of kills
