Dance 'til you drop (dead)!

There ain't no party like a Necropolis party, and the Necropolis party don't stop! Halloween is back for 2019! Fight through your favorite Halloween bosses and spawn a portal to Boogie's Mansion. Boogie just wants to party like all Halloween monsters should! Bring your Necropolis Candy Bags to his door to gain entrance, but beware, you might get more than you bargained for.

This event begins Thursday, October 24th, at approximately 1:30 PM CST. It will run for 2 spooky weeks, with a 3 day cooldown.

Guide:

The Halloween Event is an energy-based event. Spend energy points to enter the boss zone and defeat Necropolis baddies to progress through the event tiers and earn tokens to redeem for the Token Vendor's stash of Halloween treats.

You can get to Necropolis either from the main map or by talking to the Necropolis Gatekeeper.

Once inside you are prompted to purchase a Bane Item that will vastly help in this area. Last year's Bane Item works here:

Here you will battle denizens of ultimate evil, culminating with a boss battle:

On occasion, defeating this boss will open a separate portal to Boogie's Mansion.

But, Boogie doesn't let just anyone into the party! You must bring him one 2019 Necropolis Candy Bag if you want to cut loose on his dance floor.

Collect the Candy Bars that drop from mobs all around Alor and craft them into Candy bags to get a VIP pass to Boogie's Bash. Defeat Boogie, and you'll receive Boogie's Bag, a special event chest that has a chance to drop a whole slew of Halloween Vanity garb.

Boogie's Mansion culminates on the Dance Floor, where you will do battle with the most rad ghost ever:

Regardless if the proc is good or not, 7.5% crit is huge for mages. Still hope proc is good too tho. Have a bad feeling staff or bow won’t drop below 50m for a long time, assuming procs are decent.

i agree ebon reflection process remove the needs for mage skill to snare / freeze ... in pve it destroy most mage skills do so .... i think the rogue's bow process is more relevant for mages

Ok I have to be honest, and granted this is before weapons are released so no idea how useful the actually proc is. But another reflect proc for mages? I thought it was determined that ebon staff was an overall flop since mages aren’t supposed to take damage. Meanwhile, both rogues and warriors get offensive procs that deal damage. Unless the reflect proc is on par with ebon aegis, mages got shorted again imo. Might be good in pvp but how many mages actually pvp since it’s basically impossible since we are basically half power as rogues? Anyway, my pre-release thoughts. Still looking forward to event.

Well guess that previously, ursoth wasn’t a couple of days before. Getting over 50% less for your time in the space of a few days is never going to sit well. Yes I know this event is longer and the tiers less but still kind of boring compared to ursoth

Also, why has rogue got a manly looking vanity? Mage has only ever had one girly vanity and don't even start with "mages are genderless".

I would love it though if for example the steampunk goggles, or the facemask, could fit over my normal hairstyle - I don't like that in order to wear those vanity items I have to change my hairstyle. I think this really takes away from certain vanity items.

I appreciate this would require a bit of design work, but even if the hair colour changed to match my current colour that would be an improvement over a forced style.

While playing, Quit to Menu. On the left you ALWAYS have all info about all events, time remaining before the end of one, before the next starts, etc.
In game, 100 times per day people ask "when is the event going to stop" .... boring.

Halloween 2019 was the first normal Event I had the RL Time(Used my vacation time) to do since playing this game since 2015. I finished #35 I believe. Was a interesting experiance, one I won't be doing again lol. I still like the Swamp Temple LB Style better. I now have a better understanding of how hard it is to do these type of 2 Weeks Events. Gratz to all the LB Runners this event :).
