The Ultimate Farming Group

I played last night using my Warrior Swordpanda with Chaudex (he respeced to become a Tank) farming group that was SO FUN!

I always thought the best group combination for instance was a balanced group with perhaps 1xTank, 2xHealers, 2xDPS (BowBear/Bowchantress/BowBird).

I was WRONG! The best group without doubt is 5 x Bear Tanks!!! With a couple Isis/Thoth gears each Tank, we don’t need healers.

To prove a point, we did Plasma Pyramid in about 5/6 minutes by killing all bosses.

We did Map 4 by killing the boss in 3 minutes, Map 2 about 2 minutes, with all the Lesser D’Jinn untouched.

Either you are totally right or the tanks are just suer skilled and actually KNOW what theyre doing. I kinda favor the first choice :P

Bears, STR Bears especially, take the most abuse in PvE.

With so much regen from Thoth/Isis and potions, healers aren't needed at all, so yeah I can see why this would work a charm.

I've farmed with Chaudex a lot and with 5 bears you can run through a map in no time. :)

No 1,500g potions required other than a couple of odd Health potions.

There is one Bear putting the Experience Potion for Good Luck, though I don't think it worked.

Yes, All Trash Mobs are skipped, including Lesser D'Jinns

Tanks are the best farmers, actually any bear build make a better farmer then the other classes. Simply because mages attract enemies with their spells and birds die easily if you are not careful.

I don't hate mages, my maint is an Enchantress.

Although a group of 4 bears and healer (Paladin preferred) will also work nicely. Though Mage, will probably not do any AoE damage spells to ensure her survivability.
