View Full Version : Bear needs better gear

I'm not having any success in Nuri's Hallow and think I need better gear. My lvl 56 Bear has Guardian's Helmet of Hate, Zuraz Shock Lance, Guardian's Armorof Hate, and Force Kite Shield of the Rift. I'm close to buying the Force Kite Shield of Hate. Any suggestions?

Since those gears are lvl 50 I understand why you're having trouble in nuri.

If you can't afford glyph here's my suggestion:

Royal plate
Royal helm
Rooters gemstone sword
Bodyguard shield.
Or
Do the nuri quests, and get some free purple weapons

Or
By lvl 56 gear in the cs (note that it's more expensive than its lvl 60 counterpart.)

Like:

Reptilian shield
Tamin club
And that hat that looks like king mynas (forget the name)


Personally I'd go with option 2 or 3.

yeh you will definately need to upgrade,a dn what hankomachos said are some good improvements as nuris is quite difficult with the mobs' super combos

You don't need to upgrade your gear, but I guess it'll make things 'easier,' or perhaps a better word is more 'survivable' for you if you seem to be having a hard time. I used hate gear + my Gurgox hammer all the way up to lvl 60 and I still run it sometimes in fang.


It's all about knowing your character and it's limits.

There's always the saying:
Don't know your class TOO well.

Anyways, bears need dodge and armor.
Nothing else they really need that's vital.
I would suggest really switching out the Zuraz(it's a way underlevel weapon).
You should probably first get to level 60 and then buy some Big Top pinks.
