How do they work? it states 2.0 damage but u clearly get more than 2.0 damage

Should people focus on adding more damage or focus on their primary stats if they wan their damage to skyrocket?

The first para gem gives an extra of 5.5 damage so 7.5 damage in total. The second, third para gem, etc gives only 2.0.

regardless, its only 5damage, why every1 r so obsessive about para slotted weapon on low levels

it counts like:
dmg*(bonus dmg)*(all %dmg from pets and other sources if stacks)

for example u have thing which says 2.00 dmg, your bonus dmg is 800% and u have pet with 25%dmg
so it will be 2*8*1,25 = 20 dmg

(bonus dmg depends only on your main stat, bonus dmg =100+mainstat/2)

at high levels chaos gems are trash, same as dmg awakes, need only focus on increasing main stat (if need more dmg)
