She knows when you've been slaying, she know's when you've cracked eggs...Syrillax is back for another year, but she didn't come alone. Look out for the new Brood Dragon... Mechathrax!

The residents of Frozen Hope have opened their gates to all Arlorian heroes willing to take on the new beast. You didn't hear it from me, but word is you'll be rewarded handsomely. Syrillax's brood is yet to hatch however, and it will be up to you--our heroes--to find and deal with her eggs, thus preventing the success of Syrillax's attack.


Event runs from 12/19 to 1/9, with a 3 day cooldown.

Bane Item: Orb of Ursume

The Orb of Ursume is a special item purchasable only for Platinum that will help you along your way through mobs of frozen enemies and increasingly challenging bosses. Having the Orb in your inventory will reduce the critical rate of bosses by 6% and deal up to 50% more damage to monsters and bosses in the Mount Spyr Pass zone!

The best news of all? If you purchased an Orb last year--you're set! Same orb, same perks.

Bane Item Upgrade

The Orb of Ursume can be upgraded with a recipe that drops from Syrillax. The upgraded version of the orb works in the Brooding Grounds in addition to the original zone.

Mount Spyr Boss Loot

Kick off the Winter Event by fighting bosses and baddies, earning tokens, and looting some sweet new back vanities in the Mount Spyr Pass zone.

Event Zone: The Brooding Grounds

After the first week of the Winter Event, Syrillax's Brood Dragon will make her move and the Brood Dragon Egg's will begin to drop. Each time Syrillax is defeated during this part of the event she has a chance to drop one of her precious Brood Dragon eggs. If you are the lucky player to pick up the egg--Congratulations! Finding the egg will trigger a world event and start the meter on a global goal toward hatching the egg.

The finder of the egg will also receive the Winter Broodmaster title.

Once found, the egg will be placed in the Brooding Grounds where players will have to craft Dragon Flamestones to heat the egg and hatch the dragon inside. Obtain Weak Dragonstones from all event bosses while the Global Goal is active, then craft them up to Dragon Flamestones. You can obtain the recipe from the Frozen Hope Token vendor. Dragon Flamestones used to hatch the Brood Dragon from last year can be used this year. Open the Flamestones in your inventory to receive a stat buff, an event point, and contribute to the Global Goal!

Don't forget to pick up your Mechathrax Hunter Badge from the Token Vendor. You'll need it to enter the zone. Last year's Hunter Badge will not work for the Brooding Grounds.

Once the Global Goal is reached, you can re-enter the Brooding Grounds to fight the BROOD DRAGON Mechathrax. Once hatched, the Brood Dragon will only be available to fight for 1 hour before another Brood Dragon Egg must be found, so be quick on your feet!

Among other things, the Brood Dragon will drop a unique set of crafting components that are required to build the brilliant new Mechathrax vanity weapons! Pick up the crafting recipe from the Token Vendor in town. The actual crafting of these vanities can only be started while Mechathrax is up!

You'll also have a chance to loot some icy new furnishings so you can chill, literally, in style.

Mechathrax Hunter's Elixir

For the more active farmers, you can purchase from the event vendor a special tradeable and stashable hunter's elixir for 10 Platinum. This elixir will increase the drop chance of the Mechathrax Weapons used to craft Mechathrax Vanity Weapons! The elixir lasts for 10 minutes after consuming.

Melathrax reduces armor of single target, by how much? 5, 10, 15, 20, ... 50 ? Does this mean this pet will be good vs bosses or barely reduces armor and timur´s style Ingot and Chunk will be more effective. I think that this important information should be always shown in % of arcane pet passive. Pet does look very good, but 0 info discourages me from going for this pet.

Also we are getting decent %ED in pet´s HB, new elite map should be real pain, or this ed buff will make mobs a tomatoes.

After spending some time with this I think I'm going to take the risk and do two things: increase the number of Marshland Crates required to make the basic Winter 2019 Locked (from 2 to 5), and create a new 'Massive' Winter Crate that takes 1 Valley crate and gives you 2 additional pulls (for a total of 5 pulls - where the basic Locked gives you 3).

The residents of Frozen Hope have opened their gates to all Arlorian heroes willing to take on the new beast. You didn't hear it from me, but word is you'll be rewarded handsomely. Syrillax's brood is yet to hatch however, and it will be up to you--our heroes--to find and deal with her eggs, thus preventing the success of Syrillax's attack.


Event runs from 12/19 to 1/9, with a 3 day cooldown.

Bane Item: Orb of Ursume

The Orb of Ursume is a special item purchasable only for Platinum that will help you along your way through mobs of frozen enemies and increasingly challenging bosses. Having the Orb in your inventory will reduce the critical rate of bosses by 6% and deal up to 50% more damage to monsters and bosses in the Mount Spyr Pass zone!

The best news of all? If you purchased an Orb last year--you're set! Same orb, same perks.

Bane Item Upgrade

The Orb of Ursume can be upgraded with a recipe that drops from Syrillax. The upgraded version of the orb works in the Brooding Grounds in addition to the original zone.

Mount Spyr Boss Loot

Kick off the Winter Event by fighting bosses and baddies, earning tokens, and looting some sweet new back vanities in the Mount Spyr Pass zone.

Event Zone: The Brooding Grounds

After the first week of the Winter Event, Syrillax's Brood Dragon will make her move and the Brood Dragon Egg's will begin to drop. Each time Syrillax is defeated during this part of the event she has a chance to drop one of her precious Brood Dragon eggs. If you are the lucky player to pick up the egg--Congratulations! Finding the egg will trigger a world event and start the meter on a global goal toward hatching the egg.

The finder of the egg will also receive the Winter Broodmaster title.

Once found, the egg will be placed in the Brooding Grounds where players will have to craft Dragon Flamestones to heat the egg and hatch the dragon inside. Obtain Weak Dragonstones from all event bosses while the Global Goal is active, then craft them up to Dragon Flamestones. You can obtain the recipe from the Frozen Hope Token vendor. Dragon Flamestones used to hatch the Brood Dragon from last year can be used this year. Open the Flamestones in your inventory to receive a stat buff, an event point, and contribute to the Global Goal!

Messed up economy. Perhaps they should hire an economist instead of developers, or perhaps the invisible hand is at work. Hmm craft them for 35k plus ingredients or just buy them from below 10k in auction. Decisions decisions!

I think the token requirements are a separate discussion. If they continue to drop as loot their value (and the value of all the associated gameplay required to make them) will be gutted.

Yeah, I'm curious too. What's is valuable item drop from killing that Mechatrax? Of course, except for vanity weapon ingredients. Something worth to run for 1 hour. Maybe Melathrax Egg?

In guide up it say u drop items used for craft vanity weapon
Plus icy house furniture

As i remember last year it drop eggs and green arlor vanity.. maybe this year drop eggs too lets wait and see how it goes
And yes it worth running cause it give free event points for runners no energy consuming needed

The residents of Frozen Hope have opened their gates to all Arlorian heroes willing to take on the new beast. You didn't hear it from me, but word is you'll be rewarded handsomely. Syrillax's brood is yet to hatch however, and it will be up to you--our heroes--to find and deal with her eggs, thus preventing the success of Syrillax's attack.


Event runs from 12/19 to 1/9, with a 3 day cooldown.

The Orb of Ursume is a special item purchasable only for Platinum that will help you along your way through mobs of frozen enemies and increasingly challenging bosses. Having the Orb in your inventory will reduce the critical rate of bosses by 6% and deal up to 50% more damage to monsters and bosses in the Mount Spyr Pass zone!

The best news of all? If you purchased an Orb last year--you're set! Same orb, same perks.

Bane Item Upgrade

The Orb of Ursume can be upgraded with a recipe that drops from Syrillax. The upgraded version of the orb works in the Brooding Grounds in addition to the original zone.

Kick off the Winter Event by fighting bosses and baddies, earning tokens, and looting some sweet new back vanities in the Mount Spyr Pass zone.

After the first week of the Winter Event, Syrillax's Brood Dragon will make her move and the Brood Dragon Egg's will begin to drop. Each time Syrillax is defeated during this part of the event she has a chance to drop one of her precious Brood Dragon eggs. If you are the lucky player to pick up the egg--Congratulations! Finding the egg will trigger a world event and start the meter on a global goal toward hatching the egg.

The finder of the egg will also receive the Winter Broodmaster title.

Once found, the egg will be placed in the Brooding Grounds where players will have to craft Dragon Flamestones to heat the egg and hatch the dragon inside. Obtain Weak Dragonstones from all event bosses while the Global Goal is active, then craft them up to Dragon Flamestones. You can obtain the recipe from the Frozen Hope Token vendor. Dragon Flamestones used to hatch the Brood Dragon from last year can be used this year. Open the Flamestones in your inventory to receive a stat buff, an event point, and contribute to the Global Goal!

Don't forget to pick up your Mechathrax Hunter Badge from the Token Vendor. You'll need it to enter the zone. Last year's Hunter Badge will not work for the Brooding Grounds.

Once the Global Goal is reached, you can re-enter the Brooding Grounds to fight the BROOD DRAGON Mechathrax. Once hatched, the Brood Dragon will only be available to fight for 1 hour before another Brood Dragon Egg must be found, so be quick on your feet!

Among other things, the Brood Dragon will drop a unique set of crafting components that are required to build the brilliant new Mechathrax vanity weapons! Pick up the crafting recipe from the Token Vendor in town. The actual crafting of these vanities can only be started while Mechathrax is up!

Mechathrax Hunter's Elixir

For the more active farmers, you can purchase from the event vendor a special tradeable and stashable hunter's elixir for 10 Platinum. This elixir will increase the drop chance of the Mechathrax Weapons used to craft Mechathrax Vanity Weapons! The elixir lasts for 10 minutes after consuming.
