This is why there is an option to purchase an Elixir that takes you directly to the zone. Talk to Dr. Wells in Sanctuary. Use the [Buy Elixir] option.

Not true. It should be rare because the zone drops a LOT of gold and because Kel Krampus has a chance to drop new frosty Elder Relics (and their value needs to remain high for those fortunate enough to loot them). We have seen the ugliness that follows events where the target items are easy to obtain. :-)

This is a global function of leveling beyond the maximum level of the content / zone in question. Players that have out-leveled Old Town are so powerful that the monsters don't mean anything (Winter Zombie included), and thus should give no credit for kills.

It is not prudent to make these sorts of adjustments when an event has only just begun. Numerically speaking we are about one hour into an event that lasts about three hundred and forty hours total.
In one of my previous posts I talked about how it's important to protect the rare drops and gold inflow by making the free portal spawn rarely. In order to meet this objective and give players what they want I will need to evaluate the actual performance data over a period of at least one day. This is more experience talking than intuition (as we have endured some bad turns when spawn rates and loot drop rates are adjusted prematurely).

I very much appreciate your well-reasoned feedback and I do hope that you enjoy the event (irrespective of these concerns) :-)Cinco I think you should come to DL and run some scrub diagnostics so you'll see that we aren't complaining unnecessarily ..the spawn rates are low enough to drive someone insane to be frank ..I've been farming underground blockade since the event started and I only spawned the portal thrice and only once have I spawned it after switching to black cat . That said some players are yet to spawn it and have farmed for hours nonstop while others have totally stopped farming ..I think you shouldn't wait so long to make things right with this event so those who have interest in playing it can enjoy it to the fullest . Farming is pointless at this pointless at this point there is no portals and you can't even get pve kills at all. Been farming since event starred and only 1 portal spawn and I used up rest of my plat to get in just to get 1 lvl 46 ecliptic gem

Ppl just want it to be rare so they can sell way over priced. They see it as the more ppl that have the drops the less they will sell for it shouldn't be that way especially when ppl wanna have the new stuff for pvp. The event is until JANUARY 2, 2020. Guys, there is still much time for this event to run and anything can happen. Farming for the elder weapons of course is not an easy drop. It takes days to farm for it. Unless you guys want to happen again like last Halloween, where the relic weapons are so easy to drop and theyre not rare as theyre supposed to be.

In case developers read our comments right now, I’m sure they are currently looking on this and lets just give them time to work on it. Then we do follow ups if after a few days, nothing happens.

Why last winter event it was good drops rate but this winter event everything gotta be so rare. If you put best weapons for plat rest of weapons that drop shouldn't matter

I just tested 240 plat on fast portal potions (24 chances) and all I got was green weapons n purple gems. Does the fast portal lix increase the chance of drops? If it doesn’t then it should or it’s just a waste of 10 plat cuz you only get 1x fast travel per 10plat.

Please consider increasing higher chance drop rate if using fast portal lix please Cinco

Trash? This is a gold event, you make a ton of gold going to the event zone, with a CHANCE of getting an elder relic. Stop it already, this thread is filled with your begging already dude. Go forge weapons and gems and keep getting rich with the event.

Its not gold event ..it seems more they got bored make smth new for dl nd just loaded previous year event ..adding plat buys for their gain ..even the plat buy is recoloured north set ..
We try hard keep pvp live nd in this way with " rare " drops the new pvpers will quit its my feeling.

Nothing worth having drops . The only items worth having are badly overpriced and the gameplay is repetitive and boring. This is about as bad an event as dl have ever managed . As others have mentioned it will make pvp play to win and empty the arena . The only people gaining from this are the developers who have recycled an old event again and just added a bigger pay out from players . Happy Xmas lmao

The complaints from most of you on this thread is beginning to irritate me tbh..for crying out loud it's a 2 week long event so chill tf out and farm the event ..do not forget that it's elder relics that have a chance to drop so of course the drop rates will be low ..as for y'all complaining about the drop rates are you the only ones who have yet to drop it? The answer is obviously a no because most players haven't dropped the new weaps either but do you see them crying on here ? The answer is still no so get your lazy hands to work and farm the event ..
Finally coming to the new cold set..my word on it is pretty simple ..if you're not impressed by it then don't buy it and don't also come running your mouths here on forums hating on cinco because he did the set based on the requests made by players as well so that said ..put the work in and farm I mean it's a win win situation considering that even if you don't get the drops you get the gold so grind it out guys ..nothing good comes easy

As for lazy I’ve topped two leaderboard events . What’s your score ? Decent drops and an enemy worth fighting is gaming . Not running around flipping bodies for gold .

The original point I made was the effect play to win had on pvp and people leaving the game , there’s little point looking at events in a few months time if players quit and decide on a different option . Portals are easy now, making 150k+ gold each run seems pretty nice for it to not be a gold event. But who am I anyway to go against the few people here voicing their cry, sorry I mean "opinions". :)

You should remove good luck thing because it makes no sense.
A person with Max good luck gets a trash weapon and the one who use no good luck gets an elder weapon in just a few runs.

Cinco sir please I want to request on behalf of the entire community that you give us a blood forge event hopefully shortly after winterfest ends because everyone here will agree with me that we need another discount on forge due to the fact that we have all wasted gold running into hundreds of millions just to get good stats on our gear more especially for us farmers who forge goldloot on our gear ..I hope you consider this soon and hopefully grant us this request
