Do you wanna help more?

1. To be a helpful player you need to know your stuff.

Learn more about the game before you try to help others, you need to know where and how to do things, first off know where NPC's Are for Ex. If someone asks "Where's GWS Envoy"? You know where they are, So show them.

2. Be Patient with New Players

Not all Newbies are going to be experts when they start, some dont have mmo expierence. You need to be patient and Slowly teach them how to do things and where things are. Show them how to lvl and where the best xp is.

3. Introduce yourself to them(:

Everyone wants a friend(: So why not be there friend! Be friendly to them, and who knows... Maybe they will turn out to be your best buddy! or even Wife/Husband! Lol(:

Well that's all for now(: Hope you like it! Feel free to add on and Please... No flaming at all.

If anyone needs help as well my name in game is Paara or Xpaarx

How to help a noob?
1. Respond to that noob's pm or shouts in BS
2. Tell him to look it up in the forums
3. ????
4. Profit
Moral of the story: Give a man a fish you feed him for a day, teach a man how to fish you feed him for a lifetime.
No flame just adding something.

i kinda lol'ed in that wife/husband thing if it does happen.
"hey Dad how did you meet mom?"
"well son..it all started when we were killing the Mysterious Figure while searching for a pink gun...then when i saw her take him down with her lvl 36 OP I knew that she was the one for me"
*son facepalm*

I always help the 2 dozen panhandlers on blackstar by telling them to ask their guilmates for creds instead of me. I think that's what a guild is for, to help each other to reach their goals.
I haven't noticed a reduction in panhandlers yet.
And I have a question, it's a game, not real life. Is panhandler an accepted way to play or is it reportable?

I have always tried to steer people away from panhandling and show how they can make quick credits on lower level dugeons. But some do it anyway to make money for their main... Not really against tos for asking but if u suspect some abuse such as spam asking or gathering for main pm a dev here or report on sl.

Beggers join guilds and ask for items, cash, and leveling help. When they stop getting help because they got whatever they could from everyone in the guild, they quit the guild and try another guild.

I have unfriended a lot of these brain damaged players that spam "plz help" constantly every day.

Yep lol seen this to often happens in all guilds it is a shame ppl do not want to play the game but rather just find a quick way to get the next without the effort. I suggest a list if u have an off sts website or forum for your guild and share as many as you can with other gm's as this will help slow the problem down. I know it is not good to list names but some are pretty obvious at scamming guilds. Make sure you PM devs or email them as well so they can help us with this problem.

On a seond note as a helpful player also don't be afraid to make a run with a new player to make sure they know how to use their skills weapons and menus such as inventory.. sometimes new players get frustrated with a game cause they do not understand the mechanics of everything
