Yes, it stands for Armed Service Vocational Aptitude Battery (pretty sure thats it.), it's the test you take to enlist in the military, your score determines what jobs you can get in the military.

@Crim, ive already got my field chosen. Im going in as a UAV Sensor Operator (i'll be the guy who controls the cameras and pulls the trigger.) My plan right now is to stay in for one enlistment then go find a job with a private company. I have checked and its lookin like starting pay for my field outside the service is 100k+ a year.
