A full dex comando with comando gear(only gear you can use) will work? Will it crumble or will it have high hit % and high armor? I shall test it out sometime. What do you all think?

I think it will suck.. Lol

But u raised a good point here, which i was planning do discuss

This point is WHY, oh why we should invest all points in one base characteristic to make a good fighter (dex for ops, strength for coms and intelligence for engies)???!!! I think it's dull, not to say pure unnatural....

Even in PL the system of points distribution is good and interesting - u can or can not use some weapons depending on basic chars

Why this system was lost in a game that should be a 'mistakes learned' version of PL?....

Anyone has a clue?

Hmm i have already tried it,but still comm works best in pvp wid heavy armor not dps, though right balance of damage n armor can be volatile!

@flash i was wondering why they made armor wepons gear etc.. class specific in sl it deminishes the point of total customization cause comandos look pretty good with dual pistols.. well to me. But possibly to rule out comados or engineers or ops being the most domineant in pvp? As where mostly everyon has a dex bear in pl cause its good for like 10-30 pvp imo
@saiyen and true the adiquite dual speness to make a perfect dps health hoarding big armor beast :)

I had a post similar to this a couple weeks ago and I was told that there would be no armor dual speccin and I was told that its best to be pure in sl

I don't think it would be that successful.... Commando's skill damage health and armor all rely on strength for the most part. Dexterity adds little to no bonus to all of the things listed above. The only thing dexterity would affect is the hit %, commando's already have a semi high hit % (compared to bears) so it is really unnecesary to add dex.

Seems i mixed up two major options and the message became unclear..

I understand why weapons are class spec..

The answer i seek is why we need 3 base chars if it makes sence only to raise ONE of all for each class...

Well, i think i make a thread not to interfere with yours, Razerfingers

Ohh i gotcha now like why cant we dual spec like in pl instead of waste another 5 plat for a totally diffrent toon that we dont know about just to equip dex? and alright

I have a Level 26 commando. What do you think adding int will do? I hate using tons of mana but I don't know what it would do to hit % crit ect

Maybe crit and some hit % also more mana pool i believe will happen

Yes they would. Int is the worst thing you can add for a commando. Int would bascally do nothing but increase your mana.
